Hello. I am working on a CSM Black Legion army, trying to paint up the models I bought a while ago but never got around to painting, which I tend to do a lot of But I think I have decided that I want to focus finally finishing an army so I can play a few games. I'll post a list of models that I currently have:

Daemon Prince (no wings for him sadly)
2 Obliterators
12 Khorne Berzerkers
5 Raptors
1 Predator
1 Rhino
1 Defilier
2 Chaos Spawn

Now, I'd like to build a 1500 point army to play with and also if possible a smaller 750 point army that I could play with at least untill the full 1500 is painted. With the above models, any idea on what type of army I could play that would involve buying the least amount of models? I know I still need a second Troop unit, so know that I will have to soem models at least.

This is a 1500 point list I was working on, still need a little help finishing it up though.

Leaves me with 170 points, any idea? I coudl throw my Two Chaos Spawn in, which would reduce the spare points to 90.

Also, with the models that I list above that I already have bought, an ideal on a decent 750 point army list?

Couple of rules of thumb with CSM:
Naked Rhinos are best, so drop the Havoc Launcher and Dozer Blades. Points saved: 20
Khorne Berserkers don't need any special weapons beyond Meltabombs. Drop the plasma pistols. Points saved: 30
The regular CSM Squad is lacking in Anti-Tank. I would go for 2 Meltas over the Flamer/Autocannon, and replace the TL bolter and Power Weapon on the AP with a Power Fist instead. Points saved: -10
Raptors aren't really meant for CC. Lightning Claws is a poor choice IMO. Drop the Aspiring Champ altogether. Points saved: 45

Now that gives you 85 points to play with. That could gain you another Oblit, 3 or 4 more Havocs, or a Rhino for your regular CSM with points to spare.
