I figured I'd write down an IC or two that adjusts the basic ruleset in a flavorful manner. Because I'm tired and sick and bored.
Army: Chaos Space Marines
The Iron Lord of The Infernal Engines
WS BS S T W I A LD Sv
4....4...5.4..3.3.3.9...+2
Special Rules: IC, Master of the Daemon Engines, Massive Teleportation Matrix, Ancient Obliterator, +5 Inv Save.
Wargear Obliterator Weapons, Terminator Armor, Krak & Frag Grenades.
Master of the Daemon Engines
If the Iron Lord is Included in your army, Defilers may be taken either as heavy support or as elite choices.
Massive Teleportation Matrix
After having unearthed this arcane teleportation technology deep underneath a warp infested mountain within a daeomon world locked inside the Eye of Terror, the Iron Lord managed to adapt it to His most favored vessels of destruction. Defilers if put in reserve may be deployed on the table as per the deepstrike rules.
Ancient Obliterator
The Iron Lord may in addition to choosing obliterator weapons as per normal, also choose between the following weapons at the start of the assault phase:
Twin Powerclaws.
Powerfist.
Force Weapon. (This weapon, as it is derived from his own body, will effectively count the Iron Lord as a Psyker as long as it is chosen.)
The Iron Lord may take one Chaos Landraider as a dedicated transport. If taken, it may be given the Daemonic Possesion upgrade for free. The Iron Lord count as two models for purpose of transport.
Fluff: A grand hulking shape, rumored to once has served as one of the emperors own loyal space marines. Now but an empty hollow shell remains of its former self, the Iron Lord has no name, its history shrouded behind unnumerable battles, wars, deaths and strife. Its body wrought with the Obliterator Virus to the point where the humanity once there can only barely be made out. The Iron Lord has traversed the galaxy, mastering siege warfare, somehow striking a pact with the breed of daemon infested machine creatures known as defilers. Perhaps they saw a mirror image of themselves within the Lords hollow, biometallic form.
Army: Space Marines
Captain in command Sefirion
WS BS S T W I A LD Sv
5....4...4..4.3.5.3.10..+3
Special Rules: IC, Fast Attack Dispatchment. White Scars Born 'n Bred. And they shall know no fear.
Wargear: Jump Pack, Rosary, Boltgun, boltpistol, chainsword.
Fast Attack Dispatchment.
No normal Elite, Heavy Support Or Troop choices may be taken. Instead, Space Marine Bike Squads and Scout Bike Squads may be taken as Troop choices. Vanguard and assault squads may be taken as elite. Land Speeders may be taken as fast attack. If land speeder storm is taken, a normal scout squad may be taken for it. Attack Bikes may be taken as heavy support. Any HQ units must either be mounted in a rhino, be given a jump pack, or be mounted on a bike.
White Scars Born 'n Bred.
Sefirion may designate one unit. This unit gains the ability to outflank.
Fluff A member of the white scars chapter, Sefirion was given the temporary rank of captain during a campaign in the Osiri XIII system, during a joint operation with the blood angels and a third, hitherto unnamed chapter. Due to an unlikely and unfortunate series of events, a large continent of each of these chapters were cut off from the main contignent of their forces, deep behind enemy lines. With the extreme circumstances in mind, the fragmented chapter forces where forced into an unorthodox approach, and conducted a tempoary restructuring of their forces. As a result, Sefirion was granted command of a heavily specialised detachment of Fast Attack units until they could be rejoined with their main forces.
Sefirion may be upgraded as follows.
Replace the Jump Pack with a bike.
Replace the jump pack with a rhino.
Replace bolt pistol, boltgun or chainsword with
Plasma pistol.
Power weapon.
Combi weapon.
So yeah, just for fun. Think they'd be cool to play with? I didn't put in any point cost, because I don't really know what would be fair. I tried not to make them to overpowered.
