So I'm new to guard and look for a little critique. The army is meant to be medium agressive with some nice counter offensive (two blobs, two demolishers, and the hellhound/banewolf). The blobs have autocannons for anti-mech and monstrous creature protection. Veterans are for anti-MEQ and Marbo is just for giggles. Normally, I would probably replace the veterans with two Hydras, but no money for the FW models at the moment. Thoughts?

Im thinking that the veteran squad is to go in the vendetta, but what are you putting in the other one?? I like the infantry platoons, they will do well, if you use orders right, and if you run toward the enemy, they may be picked out by enemy anti tank and die. what is the aim for this army?

In theory nothing goes in the Vendetta as I am using it as a gun ship. I can switch out others squads into as necessary. This is a take all comers list. I'm not really a tournament player so that style of play in not much of a concern, but I do want to be competitive in the local. I'm thinking overall a modified gunline that works at short range. Lots of flamers and meltas in the troops for offensive punch and support tanks.
