this is for a friendly game, and a concept i think might do ok. it trys to combine static gunline with some mobile counter attack
HQ: company command squad, lazcannon = 70
Troops:
platoon cmnd squad, lazcannon = 50
- 2x hev wep team w/autocannons = 150
- 2x hev wep teams w/lazcannons = 210
- 4x infantry squads w/plasma =260
vetern squad 3 plasma, chimera = 170
Elites:
10 stormtroopers 2 plasma, chimera = 250
10 stormtroopers 2 plasma, chimera = 250
Hev support:
demolisher, lazcannon, plasma cannons =210
lemun russ, lazcannon, hev bolters = 185
lemun russ, lazcannon, hev bolters = 185
=2000
hev wep teams stay in back field and shoot the fck outa enemy armor. cmnd squads help with that or dispense orders. infantry squads are my meat shield. run in, maybe contest or grab an objective, or otherwise force the fight forward. vets and storm troopers are my rapid response, and will go towards where i need them. demolisher leads the charge, and has 2 lemun russ behind providing cover fire. between all the lazcannon on the weapon teams and tanks, the demolisher cannon and if needed the battle cannons, antitank not an issue. autocannons help with transport popping and other light tank or hev infantry dutie, while everyone else advances with plasma to bake MEQ. that and battlecannons make nice MEQ paste.
