That appears to be one of those battery powered dome lights, taken apart, with a bottle or can used to lift the top and then all painted.

Great job!

I might copy that for my Tau buildings collection.

Simple and effective. Very nice material sourcing. Personally, I think I would have preferred a slightly more complex antenna/comms array - something that fits the Tau aesthetic without looking exactly like a scaled-up drone.

Okay folks I have a big update here. These are still works in progress but I have made some Progress check these pics. All of the bases are vinyl floor tiles that I got for 89 cents.

Here is the over view of all the buildings I have been working on.

Barricade made from Devilfish box and plastic card

This bunker is made from a push light Roverts Idea! plastic card added for your enjoyment.

Defense turret far from done. A Yo Yo turtle wax container plastic card and a ship from noble armada.

I like your terrain. Alien buildings are a challenge that a lot of modellers aren't up to, and it's nice to see someone going after it. I think that the bases for the terrain could use better flocking though. At first I didn't realize it even WAS flocked. That's really my only complaint.

Used toiletry containers provide a variety of complex shapes which would be enormously difficult to sculpt.

I want to know what you used for the Arches on the Generator. I used half CDs on mine. Really need to get photos of that uploaded.
