Well I Dakka im back. I successfully completed(survived) Coast Guard Boot Camp, well I actually graduated December 22nd but this is my first time back to Dakka. Anyways enough about that on with the question

I've been looking to start a new book and came accross a series call The Black Comp[img]any, I've heard its a good fantasy series but was wondering if anyone on Dakka has personally read it and could give me some insight. I've always been more into Sci Fi some im not sure if ill enjoy it

The first one is fantastic, the rest taper off into vaguely disappointing. They are still good but the first one sets a high standard.

Nice job.

It is an enjoyable series. I liked all of the books but the first set of the Books of the North set a pretty high standard of awesome. It is all about the Black Company.
