So I was wondering about a few things During/Pre-Heresy.

Things like what did Horus use as a weapon Mainly, I know during he had the claw on the right hand but what i was told is that he used something else before that? Also anything specific about the "Right Hand" or just one day he came walking in with a claw? and was there always a bolter attached to it or did Abbadon do that, In fact did Horus even use guns at all?

Also Color schemes and specific armor/Decorations of note for the Original 9 chaos Legions During/Pre-Heresy? I know Black Legion was Luna Wolfs With White and Black or Gold Trim, Then Sons of Horus was Greenish with, I don't know grayish trim? Someone told me that 1K Sons where red or something? And Iron Warriors tend to replace there flesh with machines (much like Iron Hands) when aflicted with chaos corruption but did that happen at all pre Heresy?

Can anyone tell me specifics about these changes? or any other legion changes?

or Where to find this information. I have tried to search but find usually sketch or cartoonist drawing that really dont help me and usually the articulates I find dont really go into information like this.
