hi guys,
i've just started dwarfs a month ago and i want to know what you think about this list!

It looks pretty good but I'd consider dropping the second cannon and trying to fit in another grudge thrower.
Lose the magic resistance on the hammerers, waste of points. Increase the unit size for the warriors, 20 isn't enough.

Good list, I only see a few things that need tweeking.
1.Drop the second cannon and try to fit a grudge thrower in their.
2.Drop the Thunderers and Quarallers and make a 16 man unit of Rangers (without throwing axes, they have crossbows so whats the point, sure the TA's are str 5 but you can only use them once... I think....)
Other then that, good list my friend

In my opinion it's not bad, but there are a few things I would do differently...
First off, I like the 2 cannons, but rather than stick engineers on both of them I think you're better off finding the points for The Rune of Forging. Second, it isn't worth the points to stick both Great Weapons and Shields on your units. If you bought GW's you have to use them so the shields become useless. Third, I'm not a big fan of your 10-man unit of Quarrellers. Small units of Thunderers can work ok, but small units of Quarrellers don't and here's why: In turn 1 shooting phase, your Quarrellers will need 5's to hit. So, with a 10-man unit you're only going to get maybe 3 hits on anything and probably needing 6's to hurt a warmachine. If you're going to use Quarrellers in your list, take a big unit (20 or so) and give them great weapons. This way, when they get charged they'll still be able to deal some damage in hth.
Also, I don't think the Rune of Sanctuary is really worth the points in 8th edition. Yeah, you get that extra MR for spells that target that unit, but if you already have a Runelord with 2 Runes of Spellbreaking and the Master Rune of Balance I don't think you really need it.
I also think that your Longbeards and Warriors sizes should be swapped. Instead of spending 361 points on 28 Longbeards with shields, I'd bring 38 Warriors with Great Weapons and run them in Horde formation to attack 3 ranks deep. I'd probably drop the Thunderers and opt for more Quarrellers with great weapons.

You should put some runes of reloading on your warmachines, I can't tell you how many times that rune has helped me.

I'm going to reply just to counter this vote. Generally, the Rune of Reloading is considered to be a beginner's mistake, and never worth taking on warmachines. For Cannons, the Rune of Forging is vastly better, and should be considered mandatory. For Grudge Throwers, an Engineer has a similar effect (in that it allows you to reroll results on the misfire chart, instead of ignoring "can't shoot next turn" effects), but also gives BS4 and an extra wound. Grudge Throwers also need the "rune space" for their 1x Accuracy and 2x Penetration. If you run two GTs, the second should have Accuracy, Penetration, Burning, which still leaves no room for Reloading.

Fantastic list. Only thing I'd change is to have your Warrior and Longbeard blocks pick GW or Shields, not run both. (I'd do Warriors with GW and Longbeards with Shields, but that's personal preference)

great list, but your thane and runelord both have rune of furnace. either give one of them an additional talismanic rune or drop a rune of furnace. all rune combinations have to be unique.
I'd personnaly increase my hammers en lower the amount of longbeards and drop the shields on the longbeards

They are already unique. The Runelord also has Balance and spellbreaker on this talisman.
Powerful list, though I, too might consider stripping shields from the core blocks and using the extra to bulk the hammerers up.

Good list, now. Just so you know, you're now running what's largely regarded as the stock-standard Dwarf tournament list at those points. A lot of people call it the "Furgil list", although Furgil's far from the only dwarf that runs the list.
