Hello,

I got a question regarding spirit leech (the signature spell) and unmodified leadership
The latest FAQ says that your unmodified leadership is the highest leadership in the unit without taking any modifiers.

source:
Q: When taking a Leadership test, sometimes you have to take it on
your unmodified leadership. What is your unmodified leadership?
(p10)
A: Your unmodified Leadership is the highest Leadership
characteristic in the unit. Do not include any modifiers from
any source, for example, Strength in Numbers, Inspiring
Presence or the Doom and Darkness spell.

The question now is, when i put a necromancer in a unit with my vampire lord, does he counts as leadership 10 for the purpose of the spell? (aka do i roll 10+d6?)

Thanks in advance,

Tdh6002

Assume you're "cracking wise" as the kids say, but Acardia I'm sure means Liche Priests on Death in with a Tomb King for Ld10 Spirit Leeches.

“It was in lands of the Chi-An where she finally ran him to ground. There she kissed him deeply as he lay dying, and so stole from him his last, agonized breath.

On a delicate chain at her throat, she keeps it with her to this day.”

That spell isn't a leadership test it's a roll off involving the model's leadership stat.
Thranslation the FAQ answer does not apply.

True, but the spell says to use Unmodified Leadership, which is defined by the FAQ. It is pretty silly though.

It's pretty clear to me that the "highest Ld in the unit" bit was talking about the unit whose Leadership you're using/testing with, and since characters are their own units, they use the highest Leadership in themselves, which, ya' know, is theirs.
But, of course, it's murky enough to allow such silliness.

I allus thought that was more of a "Leadership of the unit you're targeting" than anything else.
