Hello All. there is an upcoming local doubles tournament in my area so me and DPBellathrom are planning to enter (he is going to use his my little spacemarines) i am planning on using an inquisitional army (with bushy tails). the plan is to convert plastic skaven models into squirrels and use them as deathcult assasins and crusaders, im just wanting to know if anybody can help me with ideas on this army to help me build it up and hopefully get it finished before the 11th of march
Thanks for any help

Hehe. Squirrels.
I'd suggest getting a bucketload of cheapo bulk paintbrushes- they type they give out in kindergarten art classes, and use the bristles as tails- if you want to get fancy, you could look at Fly Tying techniques to get the right bushy look, or braid them up.
Also, I'd suggest Islands of Blood, the Fantasy starter kit, if only because it probably has enough skaven in it to pay for itself compared to buying the regular kits- and you can always start a High Elves or Eldar army with the other faction- unless you sell them.

We got MLP in 40k, and now we got furries? Where is the "This thread must be purged" picture?!
Also, go wild-skaven done up as IG or inquisition can be really cool when done up right. Expect more furry jokes though. I hope you have thick skin

the army im planning on making includes 14 death cult assasins, 6 crusaders, 3 servitors, 1 monkey smith, coteaz, a dreadmaught, a vindicare assasin, coteaz, 2 chimeras, and 5 warrior acolytes, the plan is to make most of this from plague monks as far as i can tell so far

cant see how any of this has anything to do with furries, by that logic all skaven and beastmen players are furries too and vampire counts....well lets not go there
never thought of putting brush bristles on their tails, should look pretty good ^_^

So the Trekkies are zipping around at warp speed taking small chucks out of an nigh-on infinite amount of ships, with the Imperium being unable to strike back. feth it, says central command, and detonates every vortex warhead in the fleet, plunging the entire sector into the Warp. @Alexzandvar please don't post pictures and comments completely unrelated the topic...
On topic: Skaven and green stuff should do the job and I guess if the equipment is recognizable on the units and the bases fit, there shouldn't be a problem with the TO.

i have already been given the goahead. the only problem is that a local GW employee says i need to make them taller, but the way i think of it there is verry little height differance between a plague monk and a deathcult asassin. but to be honest i can use it in my most local store so i frankly dont care. as far as i know there is no problem with me using it at the tornament, to be fair i have also had chuckles from some others intending to enter but in my mind im not in it to win it id rather have a laugh

Hmm interesting... Why does the GW employee say the units need to be taller? If I am not mistaken most cover and line of sight rules depend more on the the bases than the hight of the model. (As in: if most of the units are behind a chest high wall they get a cover save, no matter of they are rat people or Yao Ming...). Maybe I'm mistaken here though. Can't you just use the Skaven models, but keep an original GW death cult assassin model on the side as a reference for rules?
If not, then you might have to get creative with green stuff...
