In a nid army, how many is to many?
I am quite keen to start a gribbly nid army and how many of the little guys does it take before the army becomes tactically hard to use.
Thanks

Also, which kind is the best, Termagents or Hormagents, or should there be an even mix?

I've had luck with 2 broods of each, around 60 bugs total. That's not enough to crowd the deployment zone, lets you take Tervigons, and if you want more, they're easy to fit in.

I like to use the hormagaunts as a meat shield for my other (larger) creatures, and if they make it to combat, it's a bonus. The termagants are overwhelming a different area of the enemy lines (generally an objective!) with their Tervigon supporting them.

I've had luck running 40+ of each but that starts to get ugly if there's lots of tanks or flamers about.
