Hey guys! I'm working on building up my Dark Eldar army, and came up with this list as a goal to aspire to for now. I wouldn't say it's optimized or anything by far, and I'm trying to stick to units I'll want to use in larger lists later on.
Archon-Shadowfield, Agoniser
Personally I think haemonculi are significantly better at lower cost games. Archons don't really come into play until 2K+. Baron is pretty common around here but with no support he's a
KP looking for a place to happen.

These two are essentially the same so I'm going to group them together. You are mixing what the squads are trying to do with the blaster and the splinter racks. Are you shooting armor or infantry. The downside to relying on your rifles to shoot infantry is that you either have to stay still (bad for
DE) or be within 12" (also bad for
DE warriors). I would say drop them down to 5 guys and put them in venoms w/ 2
SC. Now for the sybarite. Some guys swear by the increased
Ld. Personally I think if you are out of your transport as a warrior you are going to die fast so why waste the points.

This...this is good.

5 Scourges- 2 Haywire Blasters
Now I'm probably the biggest scourge fan here...in face I run 3 squads at 2500, but I would leave these guys behind for some wyches. Specifically 9 (including Hekatrix) w/ Agoniser, razorflail, and maybe haywires. They go in a Raider w/
FF. This gives you some more serious
CC potential than a lone archon.

Well
NS really aren't necessary. Basically if the enemy is firing a weapon that can hurt your ravager at said ravager and you tried to shoot it last turn you will be in range regardless. Things like auto cannons, Lascannons, railguns. Things like that won't care about your
NS. If you can hit them, they can hit you.

Pretty Straight forward. I think for 1000pts I have enough troops at 3, and a decent balance of anti-tank and anti-infantry. The Archon is my only real assault potential, but he should be able to do something annoying if I need him to.
What do you guys think?
3 Troops is nowhere near enough for 1K. Consider the fact that at 1500 most competitive lists have filled the troops out. Your
AT was good. I'm actually shocked since most people have too few. Your anti-infantry was my problem. Short of
DL you had one thing that could threaten infantry over 24" away. 24" being the
GK/Necron ideal range and you max range for most of your anti-infantry. Venoms provide a significantly longer threat range and force them to come to you...where the wyches will be waiting.
