So I'm back to trying to make my Chaos army work without using AM allies. here's what I came up with for fun games with some competitiveness and a little flavor of everything. plus new possessed seem fun so if they suck ill swap them out for more Plague Marines.

I know its not the strongest list by far but hope to be fun and still have some chance of winning lol. tau and elder will probably slaughter me. but I just play casual games not tournament level armies. if you think I should change anything or add something let me know. I really want a Hellbrute but would be the only armor in my army and would die fast I think. all comments welcome!!!!!!! looking to place order to get the possessed and raptors. so if they suck id like a heads up before I buy lol.

this ones got less different units but I think I might hit harder?? not sure.

Most people will say that they suck. But I have had both units do incredibly well vs berserkers. In possessed squads I run them 9 +champ w/MoN. As for the Rapters I run them 14 w/ 2* meltas +champ w/pp &P's and MoN

I just can't bring myself to like possessed, even as troops. They are just expensive marines, with unreliable bonsuses.. raptors are probably alright.. but fast attack is where helldrakes and spawn live, and they are top notch units.

I like the second list. Not quite enough scoring, and the plagues benefit from rhinos, but not essential.

I guess I would drop plasma from one unit of plagues, who will be hanging back on home objectives and not need it. Drop the lightning claw, harsh but not really needed. Get some cultists to spread out the scoring, and probably drop an oblitorator for two rhinos for your forward units.
