Looking for some advice here for my new Crimson fists. Gameplan is drop in all the Sternguard throughout the game, Kantor coming in on the second wave of Pods most likely. Keep tacticals and Devastators in the midfield behind the ADL for some consistent firepower while TFC rains down shots every turn.

I'm having issues optimizing my list though, not sure if 2 or 3 Sternguard Pods is more effective as when one pod comes down alone whatever is inside is pretty much dead end of the following turn. Thought of possibly bringing two 10 man squads broken into two combat squads and 1 squad of five with Pedro.

For the Heavy support choices it seems only logical to bring the Las-Devastators to capitalize on the IF tactics. Centurions are great in my meta because MC are extremely popular.

Open to any advice or unit changes, I currently have a Stormtalon, Assault and Regular Terminators, a Librarian, A dreadnought, and plenty of bodies.

Hello!

This is a good Crimson Fist List because it has a multitude of Sternguard, which is what you need. However, I would just tweak a few things. There are so many weapon options for Sternguard, and since your meta is MC, it would make some sense to give them a few combis. To find some points, drop all the Power Weapons (Sternguard really shouldn't be in combat) and maybe 2 marines and the heavy bolters from each squad. Now you should have about 10 combis worth of points. I would swap the Meltas in the first squad for 3 combi-meltas (now have 9 combis left). I would also give that squad 2-3 combi-plasmas or gravs (now have 6 combis left). That way they can combat squad to target different units (tanks and MCs). I would then give some Heavy Flamers and combi-flamers to the 2nd Sternguard squad, allowing them to flush guys off objectives. With any remaining points, you could give some combi-plasmas to the final squad, and give the Sergeants melta bombs (they always get their points back). The reason why I dropped the Heavy Bolters of the Tactical Squads is because they are really garbage (but you could drop some combis to get them back if you really want them with the IF chapter tactics). I am assuming the Tactical Squads are either footslogging to the midfield or staying backfield. It is good to keep them cheap for these jobs. The Heavy Support is very strong (however the devastator squad is a bit squishy with only 5 guys. Beware). You might want to consider bumping the points cost up to 2000 points for some anti-air (with your Stormtalon), or alternatively drop the Thunderfire cannon and squeeze it in.

Good luck with the list!
Heirophant.
