Is there a reason for this not to work? Casting Terrify on a target to lower their Ld and then casting Psychic Scream?

'cause it just seems way too powerful to be something the Thousand Sons can do.

It is a thing. Eldar can be far worse. There is a Warlock power called "Horrify" which reduces the target LD by 3.

Throw in a Hemlock Wraithfighter for Terrify on top of the Horrify to make it even nastier.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

And it stacks w/ Terrify for a -4 !!!!

If I lose it is because I had bad luck, if you win it is because you cheated.

Wait...wait...good idea (OK not really)

Eldar with Warlock who knows Horrify, Hemlock Wraithfighter for Terrify, throw both on a Psyker including unit within Shadows of the Warp of your Tyranid allies. If successful, the unit is at a -7 Leadership.

Then use some Unbound Fiends Of Slaanesh to take a further -1 (possibly cumulatively per Fiend, never seen a resolution to that) off any Psykers!

Oooh, and a Burning Chariot with the Blue Horrors upgrade for another -1!

Also with Terrify it'd make it so they took two tests to run.

If only the old IG Sanctioned Psyker squad Weaken Resolve was available. Reduce Leadership by the number of models in the casting unit (to a minimum of 2).
