Hey guys, gonna give this army a shot on Saturday. Hoping someone can provide some tricks and tips to make it better!

Vamp Lord on Zombie Dragon, Lvl 4, Dreadknight, Beguile, AoDM, QB, Glittering Scales, Enchanted Shield, Pot of Str, Sword of Striking

Necromancer, Lvl 1, Dispel Scroll

Necromancer, Lvl 1

Vampire, b. Nightmare, Lvl 1, shield, Hvy arm, lance, DReadknight, nightshroud

Vampire, b. Nightmare, Lvl 1, shield, Hvy arm, lance, DReadknight, ruby ring of ruin, cursed book

Dire wolves 3x5

Zombies 2x20

Skeletons 2x45

Bks x13, fc, lances, barding

Hexwraiths x 6

TG x 2

2998 points.

I can play around w some stuff. An alternate core could be 3x20 zombies, 40 ghouls, and some wolves.

Any advice very much appreciated!

1) Your VL setup is illegal, as you can only have one of any class of magic item (he has two magic armours). He needs a ward save, and probably a charmed shield, so that he doesn't get cannoned off the board and cause your whole army to crumble with him.

Take dreadknight off him too, as it means both him and your dragon will get stuck fighting a champion and losing the bulk of your attacks. He needs quickblood and red fury.

2) I'd drop the two hero vampires. They're squishy, and not particularly killy without Red Fury. You're better off taking another unit. That or giving them Red Fury, a lance, and some sort of protection.

3) Combine your zombie units. You probably won't have the magic capacity to be raising them larger with your VL flying around, and it'd be better to have big units that won't give up their points.

I'd also strongly recommend Vargheists in a flying circus list. They're awesome. Units of 4 with a champion, run 2x2. Very effective once yo uleanr to use them.
