A PDF paper terrain company is funding the expansion of their models into a new format: 3D paper models. They have printed, colored cardstock that is meant to be punched out and folded into a variety of fantasy creature--everything from goblins to a dragon.

Definitely an interesting angle on cheep models. They seem especially useful for RPG's, but I could see some of these working in a tabletop game.

Interesting concept.

I'm sure there is an audience, but I imagine it's rather small.

This idea is all ready done by wizards of the coast. They call it pocket Models. Wizkids got sued for their pirates game they made due to this get a lawyer ready.
