drop the wartrakk / skorcha and divide the two buggies into separate units with TL rokkits. Use the extra points for more bikers, and to get a klaw and bosspole on that bikernob. Basically your warbikers are ablative wounds for the Nob who can zoom around and murder any vehicle on the map. The bosspole will make sure when he's the only one left he still gets a 1/3 chance to stay with a reroll.

Divide your artillery into 3 separate units so they can target different things and deploy separately so they dont get focussed down by high S weapons all at once.

Other than that it looks solid. I'd drop the eavy armour on the warboss. Just take another slugga boy. Unless the whole unit has armour its usually not worth it, because the Boss should never be in the front rank of a fight and if he's in a duel with anyone, they probably have a power weapon anyway.

Dont have any more bikers but changing skorcha and trakk to buggies and getting rid of eavy armour gets me 20 points i can either reduce the kmk to a kannon or take out 2 shoota boys to get a bp and pk for the biker nob.

Boss screams for a relic. Be it a stick or da finking kap. I prefer a kap for such low pt games.

I'd spread the boyz squads differently.

30 sluggaboyz to maximise the effect of a painboss and a potentional infiltrate. Yep, with dfk you have nice chances of rolling infiltrate.
20 shootas to minimise the loss of effective fire with 18' gunz. And i'd give them rokkits instead of bigshootas.

Scorcha track is almost never worth it but i see it's usefullness as an outflanking/flanking 'eavy flamer in such low pt games. And a wartrack is a questionable upgrade for a single buggy. Later on, you're clearly better off with plain rokkit buggies, but as for 750 pt battles, scorcha tracks are fine.

Mek gunz - i'd avoid kannonz and go for lobbas and/or kmk. You'll quickly run into range issues and mediocricy of kannons. While lobbas have 48' and taken in squads of 3+ they're devastating against infantry and even work vs av10-11. They're basically the only thing that can shut down a wivern turn one. And KMK have a unique 36' s8 ap2 blast that almost alwayz has it's uses and can act as area denial tool unlike a kannon. Alwayz take ammo runts. Don't forget that gets hot kills gunners and not a kannon, so if your kmk gets hot - 1/6 chance - it's gona force a ld5 check which you'll most likely fail and loose the whole squad. Ammo runts allow to reroll Gets hot!

Oh, and don't drop 'eavy armor. It's situational but totally worth it for just 4 pts. Remember, there's quite some number of stuff that doesn't ignore it. While it's no good for regular footslogging boyz, a warboss is valuable enough to pay extra 4 pts for stuff that situationally doubles his durability.

Could take finkin cap and lose two shootas end up with 26 sluggas 20 shootas!
Dont like the idea of 2 random rokkit launchas in boyz 5+ to hit one shot per turn seems quite poo! Plus i like rolling lots of dice.

2 bigshootas vs meq: 0.44 kills
2 rokkits vs meq: 0.55 kills, 0.37 kills with 5+ cover.

Rokkits are worse vs terminators and light infantry, are comparable at killing meq and much better when you want to insta-kill someone t4 or lower (morale warfare included ). The thing is rokkits are invaluable vs tougher stuff and vehicles - where your shootas and lobbas won't do the job.

Also what formation/detachments can i use will it just be combined arms?

Your best bet at such low points levels is just CAD. And if you have the kap, strategic. Definitely strategic. It'll open up a lot of opportunities for infiltrate/outflanking or cover save shenanigans

I doubt you can include any formation in games below 1000-1250 without crippling your army. They tend to have limitations of "Take X minimum". And you don't want that much yet.

The only one that comes to mind is vulcha boyz formation. You can have a relatively small (15 min) squad of stormboyz + Zaggy.
