Hello all.

Well it's been a long time since the scars have been anywhere other than the outfringes of the modelling desk, but their long ride is finally drawing to a close. Kill teams are making a come back in my area, so the force i've had planned for months is finally getting a paint job.

The Khan has ordered the Brotherhood of the wind to dispatched a Kill Team. The first member of this squad is Terran born Veteran Sergeant Tekhan. I think he's turned out suitably;

Any thoughts?

I've got some of my older white scars on my blog Nerd by design if anyones interested.

Man, the techmarine is going to be pissed when he brings his wargear home. Looks like he’s ridden to hell and back.

I like you paintjob. Nice (if possibly excessive) weathering. But the assembly and mold lines really detract from the overall model. A few minutes with a scraper/file would help dramatically.

Looking forward to what his squad looks like. You have an army list to preview? Or just playing it by ear?

The model looks great and is full of character! I recommend getting some liquid green stuff to fill in the gaps next time

Bye bye Dakkadakka, happy hobbying! I really enjoyed my time on here. Opinions were always my own :-)

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Yeah the SGT seems to have slipped on his frame before painting. I'm running him through the TLC-fixing program so i hope to have a fixed marine.

This kill team is being built quickly with scraps so i guess speed does bring its own issues. Ah well.

Kill team member two is nearly ready;

Well kill team returns with another new member. I've got a few details (i.e drilling) left, but i've been able to repair the sgt. I ended up having to heat the from part of the bike to get it to bend, apparently it seems i've got a bad molding rather and not, as i thought, a speed build issue.

Here's the photo's of them so far;

any better? still a bit of a rush-to-finish force but i think we're getting there now

These look really nice! The painting style is quite distinctive, and the weathering is well done. Thanks for sharing.
