Hello everyone, I was just looking for some CnC on a new list I made. The group I play with is mostly casual however I still want to be quite battlesuit-heavy without going way overkill.
Now my question is where would you guys place the crisis teams with the buffmander + Farsight? Would it be worth sticking the Fusion Blasters + Farsight for the perfect deepstrike to kill vehicles. Is putting the buffmander with Farsight also a good idea or should I split him off with a group of plasma rifles for the guaranteed instakill on any infantry. The ignore cover would also work to instakill Vehicles to prevent Jinks but I should be fine with just 6x shots of melta close up I think. My skyrays are mainly for dealing with Monstrous Creatures or small flying Vehicles as a Eldar player in my group loves fielding his Wraithknight and I always seem to have trouble killing it. Also my Pathfinders tend to die after the first couple of rounds as they are just focused down so having a AV13 markerlight is quite useful to me. My fire warriors are just going to sit back and score. How much of my army should I be using to deep strike and what should I fielding off the bat?

Also how important would it be to use a Firebase Support Cadre or use Broadsides w/ the Tankhunter? Since I'll be playing against Eldar and quite a bit of Wave Serpents would that be mandatory just to glance them to death?

Farsight:

Commander Farsight - 165

O'Vesa - 305

Riptide w/ HBC, TL Fusion, ECPA, Velocity Tracker, FNP - 265

3x Crisis team w/ 2x Plasma, ATS - 168

5x Pathfinder team - 60

I believe it is either Ovesa or the Riptide gets the ECPA as you are limited one per CAD.

this is true. O'vesa doesn't really pull his weight anymore now that the O'vesa star is out of the question especially when you consider the Farsight tax. ECPA is much better on a Burstide.

Besides that split up the fusion team into 2 and 1 or as least give them target locks, as you will quite often overkill something with twin meltas. You'll also be able to force harder decisions for Imperial Knights if you can deepstrike on either side of it. Drop O'vesa and farsight for another riptide

There are also better ways to get marker lights in your list than path finders. Consider adding 6 marker drones to the missile pod squad of Crisis Suits and instead of Farsight get a commander with two missile pods, a target lock, and possibly VT. Add iridium armor and a done controller to buffmander. Now he can tank shots for the unit as well as use his BS (+TL) for the drones.
