Hellcannon is good with lore of Slaanesh for further panic checks. Some chaff may be helpful, just a couple units of chaos warhounds. I've also heard great things about hellstriders of Slaanesh. And of course they fit the theme.
So this is probably around 400...
-hellcannon
-2x 5 dogs
-unit of 5 hellstriders, maybe a unit champ
Having another low casting sorcerer like a level 1 fire or level 2 death is always nice, too. Just to carry the scroll or the skull and have that clutch fireball/spirit leech in your back pocket.

I was thinking about a chimera . i have had a cople of games with the hell cannons (originally i ran 2) and omg they were awful they ate their handlers turn 1 and then just charged into combat againt daemons. also im doing a competely converted slaaneshi army. no model will be unconverted. bar the chimera which will be all together replaced as its a pile of meh model. warpfire dragon would take its place. but is the chimera good with the breathe weapon and the regen. also i was thinking of ading a bsb with the pendantd of slaanesh. its always fun to roll 1D6 for my leadership with rerolls

My hellcannon usually blows itself up :p
Yeah the Chimera is a great choice. Definitely more reliable than the hellcannon as well. You definitely need the breath and regen, but he is a king among monsters.
I saw that you didn't have a BSB. It's not as important since youre immune to fear, terror, and panic. Obviously rerolls are nice for break checks. You could also consider the gleaming pennant and standard of discipline on regular unit standards to improve leadership cheaply.
If you were to go to 2.2k, or even start using more chaff like warhounds, I would definitely throw in the BSB.

Warriors of Slaanesh? Yessssssss ...
I feel like a BSB is mandatory once you hit 2000 points, even for MoS troops - and especially if you're including things like the Chimera, which has potentially crippling LD issues. Here's my take on your list, including a BSB and a Chimera (which pretty much eats up all the points):
Sorcerer Lord - MoS, level 4 (SLAANESH), charmed shield, barded daemonic mount = 330
Exalted Hero - MoS, BSB, biting blade, enchanted shield = 155
20 Warriors - MoS, full command (swiftness), halberds, shields = 425
Chariot - MoS = 115
Chariot - MoS = 115
Chariot - MoS = 115
10 Knights - MoS, full command, ensorcelled = 470
Chimera - breath, regen = 275
---------
2000
I've changed very little, mostly tweaks to fit in the new dudes. Speaking of which, the additions:
Exalted BSB is simple and cheap, as I ran out of points to equip him! Just a 2+ armor save and a S5 AP magical weapon (to keep his unit from bogging down against ethereal nonsense), along with the flag attached to his back. Originally I went with a heavy ward + a halberd but like I said, points got tight. This lad runs with the warriors (likely 7-wide for maximum carnage), and hoofs it up the field and into combat. As for the Chimera, he's got the requisite breath + regen, nothing too exciting, just value. Watch out for panic tests!
To pay for these additions - as well as the champions I added to both units, to keep your characters in check - cost the Discipline standard on the knights and the familiar on the lord. Speaking of the lord, I swapped him over to a charmed shield + barded mount, which keeps him at a 1+ save, but also means he's got at least a little protection against artillery snipes. Because frankly, he's the only target for enemy cannons!
it's a solid list with two very real hammer/anvil units, plus friends. Chaff would be nice, but would cost dropping a chariot, though it may be worth it (dogs, hellstriders, horsemen, etc).

Stick the characters on steeds. T5 with 1+ saves is awesome.

Chaos Spawns.
Random movement helps you deal with Fast Cav units that like to redirect you because they aren't allowed a charge reaction.
Also, they're cheap T5 tarpits to help protect the flanks of your valuable units.
Chas Warshrine.
If you're going to go champion/character-heavy, you might as well consider getting the Warshrine, plus it can be an effective tool to help ward off cannons against your Chimera.
