Hello,
I've been toying with some lists. I'm new to eldar and do play that often and I'm trying to fix a nice list for me to collect and paint. Not cheesy or spammy but semi-competitive and one that will let me go aggressive against shooty and shooty against combat monster armies. It's taken tips and advice from elsewhere on Dakka.

HQ - (objective capture and supporting the other two elements of the army)
Autrach
Jet Bike, Fusion Gun (+ power sword if I can find some points)

6 Wind Rider Jet bikes
2 Shruiken Cannons

Tactical Units / Fire Support
10 Dire Avengers
Exarch - Powersword Shimmer Shield

Wave Serpent
TL Scatter Laser, Shruiken Cannon

6 Rangers

Wraith Lord
Glaive (RoC), Bright Lance, Flamers

Wraith Lord
Glaive (RoC), Bright Lance, Flamers

Aggressive Units / Shooty if Needed
10 Scorpions
Exarch - Scorpion Claw

Wave Serpent
TL Scatter Laser, Shruiken Cannon

7 Swooping Hawks
Exarch - Hawks Talon

8 Swooping Hawks
Exarch - Hit and Run, Hawks Talon

I'm hoping this is gonna give me a reasonable gun line if needs be or quite an aggressive army if facing a gun line.

Tips, Tactics, Tricks and advice are more than welcome; and probably needed.

I would consider dropping the swooping hawks down to a squad of 6-7 each. Giving the hawk leader a sunrifle instead of talon. I run 2 units of 6 hawks in my list and they've become my favorite two units in the whole army! Drop them down with that large pie plate grenade pack, then unload a flurry of shots onto your target like you're a Mexican drug cartel carrying out a hit.

Oh my suggesting the sunrifle is due to the fact that I've found the blinding tests it forces to be really nice. 3 shots and if 1 hits they need to test for blind? Deal. Helps your unit survive some returning fire if they're caught there. Don't forget you can throw a haywire grenade too if needed, and you can still run since battlefocus.

Paranoia is a very comforting state of mind. If you think they're out to get you, it means you think you matter.

Of course. Good news is no one likes those people. (The ones who complain)

I would axe the striking scorpions (die super easy, aren't aggressive and don't do any damage); rangers, as they literally dont deal any damage and aren't as good scoring as other troops; and finally the wraith lords (way to slow to be a threat in close combat, and their guns are laughable)

For any of the following:
Fire dragons (with wave serpent)
Crimson hunter
Wraith knight
Mantle seer (as opposed to mantletaurch as suggested above)
jet bikes. Lots and lots of jet bikes.

I do drugs.
Mostly Plastic Crack, but I do dabble in Cardboard Cocaine.

Drop a swooping hawk squad and both wraith lords, and I would recommend a Wraithknight or a Crimson Hunter. Crimson Hunter would be better as you need something to kill flyers.

If you can't believe in yourself, believe in me! Believe in the Dakka who believes in you!

I'm still a fan of 2 swooping hawk squads, so no shame in keeping both if you like the unit. But he may be right at this point level maybe only having one is decent

Wraithlords are meh due to their low damage output.
The army looks more like a fund of models. Sorry.
