Hey guys. I was curious how everyone else here paints their ww2 15mm stuff. So please share some photos of what you have painted.

No matter the army, the period of the war, or the manufacturer please share. Doesn't matter if it's infantry, vehicles or even aircraft. Extra interested in seeing your force if the force is a british one as that's what I am working on but would love to see a nice variety.

If you would like to go into how you actually paint them and your painting style even better.

Thanks guys.

Thanks mate. They look really good and are well painted. Is it all battlefront?

That's a lot of vehicles.

Here are a bunch of Pictures of my Japanese. A friend of mine painted these for me so I could have them done in time for a tournament. I think they look pretty good for a quick job. I just went through my blog and took the better ones I could find.

My efforts are no where near as impressive, but they're pretty good for me and that's really all that matters, right?

Panzergrenadiers (yes I know their uniforms are not historically accurate ):

That's all I've got pictures of atm; working on an Airborne platoon and a huge chunk of Allied armor, but my progress is so slow I think I just saw a glacier go roaring past it...

This is my US Armored Division Task Force. It is precisely 6000 pts based on the list in Blood, Guts and Glory.

This is the Tank Company which is the central component

I'm sure in several ways it isn't quite historically accuarate, but based on footage I watched of the 4th Div moving through Germany in early '45, the proportion of the various tanks types seems at least possible.

And this is their army commander

A small town at the foothills of the beautiful Cascade Mountains

I just finished up these guys last night. My speed method is:
1) Superglue models to bases
2) Superglue sand to bases
3) Prime with colored primer (Army Painter)
4) Base coat everything with main colors
5) Lightly highlight bases only
6) Dip (see my Tyranid dipping article)
7) Light matte clear coat sealant
8) Paint shoulder badges / fix any noticed issues
9) Light matte clear coat sealant
10) White glue on flock

I have found that 50% of my best effort gets 80% of the effect at 15mm. I don't spend alot of time fixing minor stuff (you can see mold lines, etc.). More time for other / newer models!

You can see other pictures in my gallery here on Dakka. I'll have more pics on my soon to be up blog soon.
