[My flgs is starting an escalation league and I though I would join.


Originally I wanted to do a forest spider list but after thinking on it I will use this as an excuse to turn my woc onto a legions list. The rules are simple you must have a legal army at each stage and you cannot take out what you have put in. Equipment and magic items and the such can be changed but if you start with say 3 units of plaguebearers you cannot merge them into say 2 units later on.

I was thinking about doing a nurgle theme to complement my woc I am thinking about something along the lines of

14plaguebearers
3 drones
HoN

then probably use nurgling bases to make it legal with 3 units.


What do people think? I have been to start with 3 units of 10pb and a herald but I don't want to be stuck with 3 units as the points go up . Any ideas to help

Hi all any help? Lists have to be submitted at the latest tomorrow! Should I take the drones at this low point level or go with 2 units of pb and some nurgling bases and a HoN? Bearing in mind once its on the list its locked. We can add to it or shrink it but cannot remove it

The solution luckily is simple - swap the nurglings (who are good) for a beast (which is best):

Herald of Nurgle = 90
14 Plaguebearers = 182
1 Beast of Nurgle = 60
3 Plague Drones = 165
---------

You'll be running at least one beast in ever version of this list you ever run. What a ridiculously good unit, from the price to the min size of 1 to its superb stats to the happy puppy rule ...

But I do have to note that it was physically painful for me to write up a list without a single musician in it. Promise me you'll buy everything at least musicians when you up the points? <3!

Didn't even think of the beast brilliant idea, I could drop the unit of pb down a bit to get a musician but at this point level I don't think its worth taking them lower. For some reason I had the HoN as 115pts in my head. Don't worry I will het them musicians at the next uplift to 750!
