A small idea for a 1000pt list. Ultimately this will transpire to become a full cavalry list eventually purely because I want that play style, and I really want to make it work.
So with that in mind this is my initial idea for a 1000pt list.

Any comments/opinions?

The Lair of Vengeance....Poole.

It's a list that will punish you if you move about 2-3" out of place.

You have to be certain you want to play it. It will be frustrating as it punishes you for the slightest error.

Malifaux masters owned: Guild(Sans McCabe), Outcasts(Sans Misaki), Arcanists(Sans Marcus)

Thanks for the heads up.
I do really want to run this play style its non-normal approach to an otherwise rank and file block on block strategy game really appeals to me.

It likely won't be my only army and I feel like wood elf combat is a little uninspiring compared to some of the other armies available so I want to take and use this kind of game play for this army in particular.

Any advice though would be really nice!
And I take it that the list is alright for 1000pts then.

I usually wouldn't have put the sisters in such a small point game but they are so good a artillery / monster removal for anyone that feels like bringing something big and nasty into a low point game.

What Lore were you planning on bringing on the Spellsinger? The problem being most buffs aren't effective due to small unit sizes or being out of range. So that leaves you with Shadow (mostly useful, although combat buffs are situational), Death is always useful for sniping characters and Metal fills a hole in your list. Fire could also be useful for easy casting.

Heck, something to consider would even be beasts as every buff spell is at -1 to cast due to cavalry and with Wissans those Glade Riders put out a surprising punch. Not saying charge into combat ASAP, but charging into a weakened unit with 10 ASF Str 5 attacks is sure to put the hurt on depleted units. Not to mention Those Sisters with Savage Beasts would be...savage.

When i first used the Sisters i made the mistake of trying to use them solely as a shooty unit, then felt depressed when they didn't achieve enough. While they are good at shooting, they are also good in combat as well. Be sure, against the right opponents, to use the Sisters as an offensive force to threaten flank charges AS WELL as using their shooting. They won't suffer to harshly due to high BS.

I was thinking of using death ideally. Make use of the fast cave getting around the enemy and sending a purple sun through the entire thing (ideal situation).

I have the luxury of being able to simply play games and see what works. Depending on what army I'm playing against I can declare what lore I'm using 'after' I know the opponent I'm going to be playing as its just casual friendlies. So I do get to see what works.

With the small model count I am tempted to try and take life in order to keep my units up and try for dwellers etc.

For the sisters they are ideally a quality bunker that is able to cast a few spells. The poison throwing spears are nice also considering I'm fast cav I can run circles around an enemy chucking spears if all goes well but I most definitely will be trying to avoid all combat for them unless absolutely needed.
