My local store is running a campaign for End Times, and after it died out a bit they decided to restart it with some new rules. 1600pts lists with no magical items allowed and no special characters unless they are in the campaign books. Theory was to start the campaign with nothing and earn yourself magical goodies along the way. For the first campaign I was running my old Chaos army with some daemons, however this time I have decided to play the Undead Legions. Here is my list that I am planning on taking, c&c welcome.

Lord: Vampire Lord with heavy armour, shield, Level 3, Supernatural Horror=324pts

Hero: - Liche Priest with Level 2=105pts

Hero: - Necromancer with Level 2, corpse cart, master of the dead=210pts

Hero: - Banshee=95pts

Hero: - Wight King with shield=89pts

Core: - 10 Skeleton Archers=60pts

Core: - 3 Chariots with FC=195pts

Core: - 20 VC Skeleton Warriors with FC=130pts

Core: - 25 TK Skeleton Warriors with FC=155pts

Rare: - Necrosphinx with envenomed skin=235pts

Comes to 1598pts, have the Wight King and Banshee strengthening the smaller unit, the Liche Priest and Lord with the larger one. Corpse Cart just behind with Archers providing fire support. The Necrosphinx flies around with trouble in mind.

Bruins fan till the end.

Never assume anything, it will only make an ass of you and me.

I think you need a bit of punch in your list. Skeletons fold like origami to pretty much everything and your characters aren't going to cut it. But the minimum 400 points in Core and then get some Special unit in there with some more staying power and punch. Personally, I'd drop the wizard levels and supernatural horror on the Vamp and give him Red Fury instead. A level 3 and 2 level 2's is a bit heavy on magic at 1600. Then drop the Wight King, and the TK Skeletons and bring the VC Skeleton unit up to 30, and drop the command on the chariots (trust me you won't need it). This puts you at 405 points for Core and gives you enough left over for a unit of 20 Grave Guard, FC, with GW to do some killing. I'd recommend Lore of Vampires for the Necromancer and keep the cart close (within 6") to the Vamp who joins the Grave Guard so you can give him ASF with Vigour Mortis. Nehekara with the Liche Priest can also provide you with some nice buffs which can also set off the cart, and your opponent (who may very well be me) won't be able to stop them all.
