So I've been musing the ideas of making a Kharn's Butcher Horde World Eater's army, this is what I was thinking about working towards. Its not really competitive, and has several noticeable weaknesses (FMCs and Flyers particularly). Thoughts on what I have here?

Formation: Mayhem Pack

The general idea is that everything moves up the first two turns, helbrutes come in somewhere around then and land in the back field. Carnage ensues. Main goal of this list isn't so much to win the game, but to have lots and lots of Blood for the Blood God and Skulls for the Skull Throne. I already own a competitive army, I was looking at something more fluffy and fun. The rules for these two formations just sound like a riot.

I personally would use this formation at larger point games to have larger squads in Land Raiders and/or Spartans...

But, with the fun of using it, I would keep all the squads at minimal strength to keep target selection neutral.

Rather than Melta bombs on Champions, give Meltaguns to your CSM squads and force your opponent to choose between targeting AT or Fearless units. The Helbrutes would work well with the slaughter theme. Alternatively, you could use a Cultist CAD with a Juggernaut Lord and also take a ADL w/ Quad gun to counter Flyers while your horde advances.

Love the list and the goals! This should be a real blast to play and play against - perfect for a second army.
