Hey all, I'm about to start a small Dark Eldar kabal and would love some insight on a list I drew up. I'm completely new to DE but have experience with Crons, Nids, Tau. I'd like to keep the Archon and bikes (if not even more bikes, lol). Any CC is welcome. It's 996 points at the moment and will probably expand at a later date but would like to plan my purchases.

HQ
Archon (Huskblade, splinter pistol, Shadowfield, Soul-trap)

Elites
4 Incubi - Venom w/splinter cannon

Troops
10 Warriors - Raider w/ Nightshield, Disintergrator Cannon
10 Warriors - Raider w/ Nightshield, Disintergrator Cannon

Fast Attack
Razorwing Jetfighter w/Dark Lances, TL-Splinter Rifles, 4 Monoscythe Missiles.
6 Reavers - 2 w/ Heat lances + Caltrops
5 Scourges - 4 w/ Heat Lances

Archon goes with incubi in the venom and hunt characters,hq's,and mc's. Reavers tackle vehicles and harass. Scourges deepstrike to pew vehicles/MC's. Warriors shoot at infantry and keep pressure on. Razorwing is for anti-flyer, anti infantry. At the moment it seems incredibly fast to me. Any suggestions or tips are welcomed! I tend to play against nids, gaurd, BA, and orks. Thanks!

Scourges need to change heat lances to haywire because the range is too low on heat lances.

ORRRRR

Drop the incubi, strip all the gear off the archon, give him a webway portal and blaster and put him with the heat lance scourges to perfect strike anything. Sure, you give up warlord, but lol where did that vehicle/knight/2+ unit go?

Incubi and archons = no grenades = any smart opponent deleting them before they get to swing in CC. Use the saved points to buy a ravager or something nice.

Take splinter racks on those raiders to twin link all of the warriors' shooting.

You can also put the Archon at the back to have five 'ablative' wounds before you give up StW.

Not much to add from that advice. I'd drop the Heat Lances from the Reavers since you'll usually be Jinking.

If you're dead set on keeping the Incubi, deploy Objectives outside of terrain so that you're opponent either has to give up objectives for scoring, or cover from which your Incubi can charge in at full Initiative.

EDIT: Never go after MC with the Archon and Incubi, you've got enough poison shots to force saves. The only thing you'll accomplish is getting that unit killed for no real gain.

Your list is sound, it has almost everything you could need. Just a few words of advise, drop 2 warriors from each squad and give the Raider Splinter Racks. Statistically you get very similar hit results, but when targeting FMC the splinter racks are infinitely more useful. Also, when the explosion inevitably happens 1/2 of your unit will die, no matter the size.

I'd also drop the Heat Lances on the Reavers. There will not be a turn these guys won't be jinking, just trust me on that. So paying extra points for a special weapon that only hit's on 6's isn't good. If you need Melta to bring it down, you simply shouldn't be charging it in the first place.

With the extra points get yourself a Klaivex, they are the best 10pt upgrade in the entire army. +1 Ws, I and A + Rampage on an AP 2 at I model for 10pts is fantastic. Just wait until turn 4 where they get Furious Charge, I've had my Klaivex have 7 Ws 6 Str 5 AP 2 attacks at I 6 and simply murder Terminator Chaplins and Librarians that the Archon couldn't touch. Make. Points. For. Him.

Other then those small tips the list is sound. The next tip is based solely on book keeping, swap your CAD detachment for the Real Space Raiders detachment. In the CAD detachment your Raiders have Obj.Sec, but do you really want your raiders so close to enemies to contest objectives? I'd rather the slight benefits of Real Space Raiders, which also allows for easy build up. You said you want more bikes? With 6 fast attack slots, why not get 4!

Ok, took a lot of the advice and re-wrote the list. Also I accidently had a Solarite in there with the scourge's so my points were a bit messed up. How does this look?
