Well, Eldar is still top tier.
I'd add an Exarch to the Warp Spiders.

Welcome back to Eldar!

Well done. This is a very strong list.. and in my opinion you definately do not need an exarch for the warp spiders. If you have spare points try banshee mask, or a spear for the farseer and get an 11th guardian.. use the guardians as a two squad team to dump n pump on any unit isolated at the back.. their 40 rending shots will wipe out most units.. use the scatter lasers and serpent shields to make sure... very little can take this...

The wraithknight model sculpt makes him look like a guy with guns but don't let that fool you.. treat him as a close combat brawler because that is what he is.. I don't even forgo running if I think turn 2 means I get into combat.. he will tear up whatever he gets into with the possible exception of things like terminators and stuff with poison

I like the list and yes it is still very competitive. I think the 2 squads of d-scythes are a little overkill, so I switched 'em out for fire dragons and then brought more warp spiders

Farseer, jetbike, motlg 155
Spirit seer 70
Troop
10 guardians 90 wave serpent, scatter, shuiken, holo 145
10 guardians 90 wave serpent, scatter, shuiken, holo 145
5 wraith guard, d scythes 210 wave serpent, scatter, shuiken, holo 145
5 Fire Dragons 110 wave serpent, scatter, shuiken, holo 145

Fast attack
2 x 8 warp spiders 302

Heavy support
Wraith Knight 240

Total: 1847
*******************************

But as far as your questions:
The new Necron decurion stuff is really competitive. Everything gets a 4+ reanimation protocol that works like FNP and they always get it; killing them with something that causes ID will only reduce the save by 1 to a 5+. Wraiths are T5 and have a formation to receive the reanimation protocol. Tomb blades are scary.
Daemons are one of the top armies now too since they can summon, have some crazy flying monstrous creatures, and deathstars like hounds, screamers, and plague drones.

Harlequins are pretty awesome, I think shadowseers, solitaries and deathjesters are fairly competitive models. The formations from the dex are strong, but not devastating. Its definitely worth checking out, hasn't been around long enough to be in tournaments yet though.

Thanks, good to know the list is still good. And I am a veteran Eldar player I would like to say, just took a break for a bit.

Thanks. Yeah, generally the 2 wraith squads are overkill, but I face a TON of marines in my local area, so im a little wishy washy on whether to include them or not. The list is lacking allot of anti tank, so the dragons might very well be worth it. I only have 10 spiders though

What are the disadvantages to the decurion stuff, ei how to deal with them? Generally id think d scythes would be pretty good, as If i remember right their tanks got nerfed. Deamons still strong makes me sad, but oh wells. Wraithknight handles their mcs pretty well.

Was going to get the harliquin dex...but 45$ stupid gw. I even have some awesome jetbike conversions for shadow seer and their vyper things. And I cant seem to find their rules online anywhere

The Annihilation Barges got nerfed such that you won't see them on the board at all in a tournament. This is mainly due to the change to Tesla and their increased points cost (Tesla has an added restriction where it does not grant extra hits when snap firing).

A Decurion is going to have a large ground presence with possibly 1 or 2 Nightscythes or Doomscythes. You won't have to worry about the flyer spam anymore since their fliers are more expensive. Instead, a Decurion will feature at least 2 units of 10-20 Warriors who all have 4+ saves with 4+++ reanimation (acts like FNP), 1 unit of Immortals with 3+ saves and 4+++ RP and an Overlord (most likely a CCB or Zhandrekh) and 3 or more Tomb Blades. CCBs were nerfed with the new chariot rules, your wraithknight can easily squash it since Str 10 can instant kill the rider or 1 shot the vehicle. Zhandrekh allows the necron player to change his warlord trait to anything available every turn, so he's annoying. Ghost Arks can add warriors to units that lost warriors. Oh, and a warning for your Wraithknight... Gauss always WOUNDS on a 6 now (as well as glance on a 6). So your Wraithknight is not invulnerable to small arms fire of Necrons anymore.

The most reliable way to kill Warriors or Immortals is to sweep them in combat. But watch out for Zhandrekh's warlord trait that keeps them from getting sweeped (gives Zealot). Also, Necrons now have more options for melee units so watch out for the counter charge. Flayed Ones are scary... they're only 13 points each, have the defenses of a Warriors, can infiltrate, and have 3 attacks each with Shred (reroll to wound). Do not engage them in melee if you can help it. Volume of fire is the best way to shoot out Warriors and Flayed Ones, which you should do pretty well.

Another melee threat to watch out for are the lychguard stars. They're extremely resilient, featuring 3++ with rerolls to 1s and a 4+++ RP with rerolls to 1. In melee they have AP 3 weapons plus Warscythes (Str 7 AP 2) weapons mixed in with the overlords. This is a very slow unit so avoid it. Again, volume of fire is the only way to deal with such a unit.

And of course there's Wraiths. Wraiths are now T5 so Str 10 is pretty good at taking them out. However, if they have the formation (includes a Canoptek Spyder, 3 Scarabs and 1 unit of Wraiths) then KILL THE SPYDER FIRST! The Spyder grants the formation RP, which in a Decurion will be 4+++. Their survivability is doubled while the Spyder is still alive and in range.

MSS got nerfed which was expected, so no more worrying about whether your melee units will hit themselves in combat.

Tomb Blades (the necron jetbike) now have 'ignores cover' if they take a 2 point upgrade. Their weapons are Twin-linked Gauss Str 5 AP 4 or Blast Str 6 AP 5, both 24" range. In either case, be wary of where they are in relation to your Wave Serpents. Some players are spamming Tomb Blades (if they can find the models) because of their potential counter to Wave Serpents and cheap cost (20 - 24 points each).

That should sum up the Necron changes for you. Hopefully it's helpful.

Thanks allot @Zimko for the in depth review.

When you mention Zhandrehks warlord that gives zealot, is it to the whole army or just his unit?

And do wraiths still have their invulnerable save?

I love the Americans for their ability to understand the finer points of grammar.. ^^

you see my dear American friend, since literacy is being assaulted here ;-) : I put a comma in, so it is a different sentence than the one you read: and yes I have used spiritseers in close combat plenty of times with wraithguard .. and tbh even if you did take a banshee mask for 5pts so what? it can't hurt and it would be free

I don't see how this is a grammar thing (I'm certainly not assaulting)...Where are you putting this banshee mask? He doesn't have an Autarch, Jain-Zhar, or Banshees in the list. Are you suggesting he Spend 75+ points to include a banshee mask (Autarch)?

Well nowadays most people have replaced wave serpents with Hornets. I mean if youre not running 9 hornets in 1000 pts youre doing it wrong.

If your spiritseers are in close combat with wraithguard then you're doing it wrong. Also, autarchs are the only HQ besides Jain Zar that can have a banshee mask. Maybe its time to take advice/lurk for a while instead of shooting out misinformation.

Hey Ninja! Welcome back.

The best hint I can give you..... Wait. Don't set your head on this list. There's changes coming. Especially with jet bikes and wraithknights. I have a codex: Eldar Craftworlds thread in the tactics area. Check it out.

I think id prefer shuiken cannons over scatters if theres a 10 point difference. If its 5 then scatters I believe. They still just die so easy...
