Hi guys !

This is the first time I post a tutorial, so comments are welcomed

I would like to share with you an easy technique to paint stony / ruins bases.

So,

STEP 1 :

I airbrush the bases with a black primer (I use Vallejo air model for airbrushing), then I add a layer of US grey, then finally another one of light grey :



STEP 2 :

Just add a good layer of Nuln Oil :




STEP 3 :

I dry brush the base with Celestra Grey :




STEP 4 :

Apply smooth veins of Dark Earth on the sandy parts, the cracks, etc ... :




STEP 5 :

Add a layer of Agrax Earthshade on these parts, then you can reallt slightly dry brush them with a mix of Dark Earth / white :






And it is done !
