So I am going to a local tournament soon and since I just hit enough boys to take a tide plus some I decided to try it. The issue is I like Snikrots formation a lot. So to help myself not take them (and have them asleep till turn 4) I decided to aim for infiltrating the green tide. Since most of the missions are objective based I figured it could hold them well too. So here is the list

CAD (734)

HQ
Warboss, PK, BP, Da finkin kap (100)
Painboy (50)

Troops
2x 11 gretchin (76)

Heavy Sup
2x 10 Lootas (280)
2 Tractor kannons with 2 ammo grots and 4 extra grots (78)

Fast attack
2x 2 deffkoptas with rokkits (120)
1 deff kopta with rokkits (30)

Green Tide Formation (1115)
1 warboss with PK, BBP (105)
100 boyz (600)
10 nobz with PK (410)

Total:1849

The warbosses and painboy all go in the tide.

So I tested it the other day but had two units of trukk boys instead of the gretchin, deff koptas, and mek guns. I decided afterwards that they were not that useful in combo with the tide. The finkin cap on my warlord in the CAD effectively gives me 4 rolls to get the 3 on the strategic table so that I can infiltrate the tide which I am doing because it was recently effective and its kind of funny. I think the lootas, traktor kannons, 12 pks, and deff koptas should be able to help me deal with flyers and imperial knights/wraith knights but I am not certain. I am just curious what your thoughts on the list are. It isn't meant to be ultra competitive and I don't own any mega nobz or tankbustas. It worked well against grey knights with them only beating me due to line breaker in a play test of the tournaments kill points mission. It easily took down terminators and even dreadknights with overwhelming numbers of attacks and PKs. So anyway feedback and tweaks are appreciated since I have only played about 10 games jn 7th and 15 overall.

Infiltrate on a Green Tide is a gain of about 6" (24" away normally, 18" away with Infiltrate).

And to gain that you loose access to calling a Waaagh! every turn.

You've got a good chance of gaining Infiltrate, but it's not guaranteed. Multiple Waaagh!'s is guaranteed

Ya after turn two I have never had an issue getting into combat so I don't know how more than one would be all that useful. Plus there will be dawn of war, hammer and anvil, and whatever the opposite corners one is. So for dawn of war it isn't a big difference but I know a few of the people prefer to hang back and I was hoping it might help for hammer and anvil deployment. Thanks for the suggestion though.
