Hello Dakka!

As this is my first post on this site, i hope I am doing everything right and so on.

I have a game of 40k 2500 pts upcoming.
It's a random mission game with Orks (my friend), my Necrons versus another friend and his (till now unbeaten) Space Wolves army.
We are playing with regular Ally rules, but nobody is allowed to bring Super heavies, nor more than 1 LOW.
So i decided to write a few lists, they are not sync'ed with my friends orks, because he hasn't postet me his List yet.
I already played some Games against the Wolves (with Dark Eldar) and everytime i horribly lost. (Could be because I am rather new to this game...)
So i hope you guys can help me optimize my List, so it works well with Ork-tactics and against SW ofc.
PS: This would be my first game with my new Necrons.

We also agreed (my friend and me) that i'll take the part of Fire Support from the backline, while he rushes up with his Deathskulls orks into cc.
PS2: I also thought about a Triarch formation only list, and/or a list that goes well with Zandrekh and/or Anrakyr, because his Trait Swap and Adaptive Tactics/ borrow your LR ability is so
damn good.

So personally I think his Orks will do terribly if he's going to be the CC solution....you're much better equipped for this.

I play both Crons and SW and tbh if I was going pound for Pou d with SW I'd run lots of Wraiths, most probably in the form of a canoptek harvest, 6 Wraiths all with whip coils. They should hood their own against TWC, throw in the RP and you might even win....

The rest of the decurion looks good I would say.

So how about this List, it is Decurion and Wraith orientated.

I think that's a solid list. With the Canoptek the key is to keep the spider alive. The SW player is going to want to get close to be effective, as he advances up thin his ranks with Gauss until they clash with the canoptek harvest then deep the rewards.

I dont know enough about what Orks do well at but your list is pretty solid.

If you had the points you could also add or swap out some stuff for ghost ark transports which has AV13 side and front and is open top, so you basically park up and rapid fire lots of Gauss!
