1x glade lord on great eagle
10x waywatcher
9x waywatcher
3x warhawk riders
1x treeman ancient

After reading the rules to AoS, I feel as though range and mobility are going to be key - I kept this in mind while throwing together this list. They waywatchers seem quite amazing as they can throw out 2 range attacks each with no penalty for moving (It looks as though kiting your opponent is possible). I figured it was worth putting the lord on an eagle as it improves his save, wounds and gives mobility which could prove beneficial in keeping him out of harms way. The treeman is basically there to act as a distraction and hopefully soak up some damage for a few turns.

Why a Treeman Ancient when Durthu is better? Why not split the way watchers into 3 units for great spread and better combat avoidance.

Take the Magic: The Gathering 'What Color Are You?' Quiz.

Yes my Colour is Black but not for the reasons stated mainly just because it's slimming... http://imperiusdominatus.blogspot.com

I would watch out for cavalry. 3 small units of waywatchers can get run over pretty quickly. I have been building around the speed and mobility of the woodies too but more along the lines of wild riders and glade riders who can run and charge or run and shoot respectively.

I do like the tree an ancient as an anchor, there are going to be some really mean units running around in AoS
