After a pretty successful first year, Guild Ball Season 2 is now upon us

Up until now, there have only been a series of sneak peaks, but here is the first official announcement from the guys at Steam Forged Games

Guild Ball wrote:This Friday (4/9/15) at 12:00BST the first of the brand new Season 2 Characters go up for Pre-Order via http://store.guildball.com or your LGS.
The first release window will be an additional player for each current Guild (with an additional Dual Guild Alchemist/Engineer player in Compound). Our plan is to release a new Season 2 model every two weeks - starting with:
Sakana - Fisherman's Guild - Release Date 25th September
Tenderiser - Butcher's Guild - Release Date 9th October
More will be revealed as time goes on and our release schedule should take us all the way through 2016. To give you a brief overview of some of what's in store for Season 2:
* Season 2 Rulebook - No new core rules, but continues the Guild Ball story and introduces our brand new Campaign Rules and Campaign Packs.
* 40 Season 2 Models - 8 New Captains, 8 New Mascots, 9 Additional Players, 7 Veteran Players and the Hunters Guild (8 Players).
* Season 2 Token Sets - Expansion token sets that will add onto your existing Season 1 Token Sets.
* Campaign Packs - Brand new packs that will support the Campaign System and continue to provide fresh content

Other stuff we know...

Engineers and Alchemists are getting a new player which they can both field called Compound (this reflects the close ties between the two guilds)

Another new Engineers player is called Pin Vice

The new Morticians Guild captain is female and called Scalpel. The other new Morticians player is Bonesaw.

The Union may be getting a new player called Harry the Hat. A pic of the resin mini was leaked and he appears to be a very tall guy with an even taller hat.

The first Hunters Guild player was revealed as a female archer called Egret (she has red hair, so this is a possible GoT reference)

The new Butchers mascot is a large pig called Truffles. He will be on a 40mm base (all other mascots thus far have been on 30mm bases)

The new Union mascot will be a Giant Tortoise called Strongbox
