Hi!

Personally I would put the Dreadnought in a Drop Pod and remove the heavy flamer. He should be dropping in next to an enemy tank and popping it open. Footslogging this guy wont get you anywhere.
If you want to keep the flamer, then change the MM for an Assault Cannon. Dreadnoughts should be focused on a single task, either infantry killers and tank killers. Cant really do both.
I would go with the the stock Dread since you have plenty of stuff to handle infantry.

Consider changing chapter tactics to Imperial Fists and taking Lysander instead of the Chaplain. He is a beast and you can put him with your Terminators to make a crazy deathstar unit.

Otherwise it is a solid list for 1250.

As above - and then to further it (points allowing) take a ironclad that extra AV and melta gun makes tanks dissapear doubily with chainfist now that all have 4a base

Careful I have CDO it’s like OCD but in alphabetical order LIKE IT SHOULD BE!!!!!!

Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot.

Good idea, I could use some more tank killing stuff...

Also I don't have enough points for that Inronclad, especially if I want to drop him

Chaplain
170 points
2 wounds
NO

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Would recommend LSS for the scouts
New 7th ed buff (+3S Cerberus launcher, -5 points) makes it an decent anti troop choice

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Would take 40 of the 45 space points

In all seriousness the only good choice when it comes down to chaplains is either an Interrogator (he's nearly a captain and he can have the crozius and the fist without sacrificing a bolt pisol) or Astorath (because you can re-roll too the wound rolls).

Chaplains are fine. The trick is to keep their points down. The most I give them is a JP or suit of TDA to match their squad. Melta bomb if I’ve got 5 points left over at the end of list building.

You don’t need more then that.

They are not there to personally blender everything. They are there to make the squad blender everything. Zealot is a good thing.

If you are going to be sticking him in a vehicle, and are playing Ultramarines anyway, look into Cassius. He’s a whole lot of mean for his points.

I'll change the Chaplain if you guys are able to find a way to get the buffs that the chaplain gives me... Or similar ones at least

Also, Interrogator is for DA and I can't get Thunderfire Cannons with DA
Cassius only has a 3+ save and no termi armor but better ++ save

I'm going to replace the chaplain with cassius, thanks for the tip!

I now have 40 spare points because of cassius even though I've changed the list...

cassius is t6, which in most cases makes him far more durable than a terminator chaplain.

also i would take two tac squads to grab an extra special weapon and another transport

After playing this list today, me and my Teammate ended up second place!

About the second tac, the scout squad with bolters can take care of it... Plus my teammate had a bunch of troops
