Hey guys,

I have a bit of a dilemma, I have a nice foam tray for my Thunderhawk but I have no way getting it too and from the club safely. Just wondered if anyone had any ideas?

The foam tray is 21x21x7" The bottom and top is quite thin but has very good side wall protection so I would imagine it could handle being put on its side.

Here is said tray for reference

That looks to be a KR tray. You might want to fire them off an e-mail about what cases it fits in.

They do make a massive case for it but its £130 just wondered if I could get away with a cheaper alternative.

Yup, that looks like SM18 tray from KR: http://krmulticase.com/product.aspx?id=SM18&t=tray

Unfortunately, judging by their website only case that the beast fits in is their prestige case: http://krmulticase.com/product.aspx?id=PRS-S&t=case.

Cheapest options would be to build your own, but that requires access to some woodworking tools. Or find out if your local shipping center has some huge cardboard boxes for sale.
Accessory case for music instruments / gear would otherwise be nice, except that the foam is slightly too large for the standard sizes and the larger ones or custom mades are probably as expensive as that prestige case from KR.

Assuming you're from UK, that foam should fit a 70 litre case from Really Useful Products: http://reallyusefulproducts.co.uk/uk/html/onlineshop/rub/b70_0litre.php (internal dimensions 710 x 545 x 190). They're quite sturdy.
Or go for the big Ikea Samla if that's easier, thought that one is much larger and thus harder to move.
