I have a large amount of Chaos (Marines and Daemons) as well as a load of Space Marines that I need to move. Most of the collection wasn't originally mine and is in rough shape, but I'm sure I have the bits to put both armies together again in playable fashion. I'm not looking to sell the lot here, vastly preferring to sell within my community over having to deal with shipping, but I want some guesses at what might be a fair price for what I have.

If anybody wants detailed listings of models I can attempt to do that for you, what I can say is that there are tons of termies, loads of marines and chaos marines, more bikes than most lists will ever need, 2 land laiders, 3 defilers, 2 land speeders, 3 rhinos/preds/razorbacks, 1 SM flier that I'm unsure of, and 2 drop pods.

To sell a fairly large lot locally? It's obviously worth a couple hundred bucks, but price depends on the market. Not a lot of people want that much stuff, and it shrinks pretty quick if you limit yourself to driving range.

Really, the lower limit is probably whatever an eBay consignment seller would give you, which is probably $300-500 US?

That's what I was thinking, the total value to buy this stuff new is ~$2,000 CAD. I was expecting to get back in the 25-40% range depending on the buyer. So your range seems fair.

Also, based on your feedback, I might be willing to split off the vehicles as those are easier to ship/assemble bits for and then sell off the infantry/bikes in bulk lots.

I see a number of Terminators among them, if they're in usable condition, price them at 4 bucks a piece. They will sell like hotcakes. On Kijiji I never see 4 buck terminators last longer than 3 hours. you can go for 5-6 bucks if you want a little more cash in your pocket. They just sell slightly slower.

Also I see some metal models in there. if you can get them complete (with all of the parts and with no paint on it) then you can snag roughly 2/3rds of the retail price.

Land Raiders are a hard sell to anyone who isn't collecting them, but 45-55 is a fair price I find, assuming the land raider is in good condition.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do.
