So there's a hobby shop less than a mile away from my home called Meeple Madness and every Thursday is Warmachine & Hordes night. I had never played before and was interested in learning so I played a sample game with one off the employees. I was Menoth and he was Khador. It was a very small army list I don't know how many points but we each had 3 warjacks and a caster hq. Basically the game was spent with our jacks ripping each other apart. I saw that his hq leader was in range so I moved my jack (can't remember its name) into firing range and I shot it's flamethrower. I had used focus to boost it's damage and I got 3 dice rolls. I got a 6, 6, and a 5. At the end of the turn his caster (who hadn't taken damage the entire game) had only one or two health points left and caught on fire. He failed his fire saving roll on his turn and died XD

There were other people watching and they were amazed by my luck. They said that something like that is pretty rare to get lucky rolls like that.

That was pretty fun =)

The new Menoth Warcaster, Malekus the Burning Truth is a brutal one, arguably more damaging than Butcher1. On its feat turn, you roll 3d6 for flame damage before boosting damage with focus.
Here is how he is arguarbly more damaging than the Butcher: on your opponent's turn, during the maintenance phase they are supposed to check for Continuous effects, like fire. . . on his feat turn, they cannot expire, they can not be put out, and when they take damage from the flames, they take another 3d6.
