I'm participating in a different kind of event coming up, the guidelines are below:

Rules:
1500 points
Single CAD only
No allies
No formations
No super heavies
No destroyer weapons
No grav weapons
No forgeworld
Character lord of wars only
All flyers are considered to be fast skimmers


This is an itc ranked / reported event and can be found on their schedule as well.

Since this is a bit of a different event the tools I'm going to take are going to be different. Here is the list I decided to try out, please give advice or comments as you feel.

Autarch - Swooping Hawk Wings, Fusion Gun
Autarch - Warp Jump Generator, Fusion Gun

3 Windriders - 2 Scatter Lasers
3 Windriders - 2 Scatter Lasers
3 Windriders - 2 Scatter Lasers
3 Windriders - 2 Scatter Lasers
3 Windriders - 2 Scatter Lasers

5 Warp Spiders - Exarch
5 Warp Spiders - Exarch
5 Swooping Hawks - Exarch

(The spiders and hawks act as both transports for the autarchs, and also disruptive fast movers for redeployment wise)

3 War Walkers - 3 Scatter Lasers, 3 Starcannons
3 War Walkers - 3 Scatter Lasers, 3 Starcannons
3 War Walkers - 3 Scatter Lasers, 3 Starcannons

(Backbone of the list here is the war walkers with the amount of AP2 shots they are pumping out that are also S6)

Skyshield Landing Pad

Eldar list with no powers, just straight shooting. I think that it will fair up nicely against most lists especially with the fact that grav is not allowed in the setting.

It is fine as is. Do check with TO that Flickerjump is not conferred to the Warp Gen autarch as per GW FAQ.

No models for a farseer? On a bike? The war walkers could use Guide or Prescience.

Scenery as part of the list is somehow still 'oldhammer'?

I mean, your list fits the criteria and is competitive, but I guess the tournament fails as a concept completely if 'current eldar lists minus wraithknight' is what people are bringing.

I guess I don't see the point. It fails on both ends since the criteria doesn't stop anything and people joining are running lists not at all like previous warhammer editions.

Do I think you'll lose with that list though? No.

Thanks for commenting I really appreciate it, when I look at it I would like to put in a seer in but with the meta being a lot of all or nothing when it comes to warp charges. It's tough to justify putting just one or two seers in to get powers that have a good chance of being denied.

Since it's ITC format and the GW FAQ isn't fully finalized it's safe to say that I'll be able to use the jump ability right now for this tournament. But I do see your point though.

Regarding the format, too be honest the whole oldhammer thing really doesn't work but because it is a very unique and different tournament I thought it would be fun to try something different.
