Hmmm what age Eisenhorn this is supposed to be? Wasn't he supposed to be carrying power sword without physical sword when he was younger? Or am I just misremembering.
Also looks bit oddly drawn(reminds more of modern day office worker with sword and gun!) but hopefully stories are interesting. Refreshing to see non-marine stories at least

I believe that comic book wise Mr Abnett is contractually DC exclusive.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

What the hell is this? It looks more like the Hardy Boys in Morocco. Are they not bringing the rest of the characters along.
Where's Aemos? This is most perturbatory.
Looks like the butchering of a classic.

I think the painting looks okay quality-wise, better than Boom's comics which were not to my taste. This reminds me (in a good way) of early Dark Horse Star Wars comics, like X-Wing, River of Chaos, Splinter of the Mind's Eye. A story not about Space Marines is also a plus.

Well we have seen just scene of them fighting. Aemos wasn't ever big on fighting I believe...What with not really suited for combat.
You expect to have tons of characters in few pages showing part of a combat?-) 2 familiar characters + type of character he used to keep around but which keeps changing due to the nature of job. Doesn't seem too bad.

An Astropath, that's eyes haven't been burnt out and seems to be utilising psychic powers in a combat role? Hmmm..... It's not even that hard to find in the fluff that THEY DON'T DO THAT.

Midas is toting laspistols instead of his trademark needle pistols and wow, that's really rare, an astropath who still has eyes.

He needs to finish his commissions first.
