The game is set in the Fantasy World of Legian, and uses 15mm Metal and Resin Miniatures to fight Table Top Mass Battles and Campaigns

The Ruleset has now been under development for a year and as been play tested by a large group of people for at least 7 months. We are now at the end of the play testing phase, and are confident that we have the rule set nailed down.

If you would like to try the rules out or even just read them, the current basic play test rule set is available as PDF download either from the front of our webpage www.battlevalorgames.com, or from our Facebook Group "Battle Valor Games". You should join the Facebook group if possible. Here we post all the latest news, and many members post pictures of painted figures and Battle Reports.

The Kickstarter. We are running the Kickstarter now for 2 reasons.

First and foremost to raise funds to bring the Rulebook itself to print. We anticipate the Book will retail for between $45-$50.

Secondly, we figured we would use the opportunity to bring 3 more of the Armies to life. These will be the Vampirians (Vampires), Vermians (Ratmen), and Scalians (Lizardmen). Depending on how the Kickstarter goes, we may also unlock the Hellians and Purians.

Each army will have 5 packs available to choose from in the Kickstarter. There will be 3 Infantry and 2 Cavalry Packs for each Army.

Infantry Packs contain 35 Metal Figures, including 3 Command figures and where appropriate separate Shields. These normally Retail for $23 a pack.

Cavalry Packs contain 16 Mounted Metal Figures, including 2 Command Figures and where appropriate separate Shields. These normally Retail for $23 a pack.

You will be able to choose from the following packs for each army;

Infantry with Hand Weapons and Shields (35 figures)

Infantry with Spears and Shields (35 figures)

Infantry with Missile Weapons (35 figures)

Cavalry with Missile Weapons (16 Mounted figures)

Cavalry with Spears or Lances (16 Mounted Figures)

These Figure packs and the Rulebook are the basic elements of all the reward levels.

We'll find out soon enough eh.

Very cool, I've actually been thinking about trying to prod some of the grogs around here to starting WHF again in 15mm and these look pretty reasonably priced consider their good quality...but US Kickstarters are a no-go these days alas, can't risk customs charges.

Hopefully it funds and they find a UK/EU stockist.

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?
I have a blog now, evidently. Featuring the Alternative Mordheim Model Megalist.

"Your society's broken, so who should we blame? Should we blame the rich, powerful people who caused it? No, lets blame the people with no power and no money and those immigrants who don't even have the vote. Yea, it must be their fething fault." - Iain M Banks

"The language of modern British politics is meant to sound benign. But words do not mean what they seem to mean. 'Reform' actually means 'cut' or 'end'. 'Flexibility' really means 'exploit'. 'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'. All really mean 'keep wages low for the masses, taxes low for the rich, profits high for the corporations, and accept the decline in public services and amenities this will cause'." - Robin McAlpine from Common Weal

Hm. They would look nice next to all my unpainted Epic and Dropzone Commander.
