Been Around the Block

Hey guys,
So I am currently in china for a few months and wanted to buy some sort of boxset/game (GW) to keep my self occupied while lazing around the country side.
Now my question is does anyone know any Chinese sites/places I could buy from or any site that would deliver out here?
I know there is a GW store in Shanghai but the prices are much higher than in the UK. I'm sure with exchange rate and all I would spend an extra £40 on Silver Tower. So I figure shipping from somewhere else might be cheaper.
Also if anyone has any experience wargaming here I'd be interested in what your experience.
Thanks,
Jamstrap

Seriously though, I suspect Hong Kong might have a few stores where GW could be found. Beyond that, I'm afraid I couldn't guess where GW might be available.
Good luck!

They might have in Hong Kong but I've only seen Shanghai. I've spoken to the guys there but they don't ship out.
Seems like I'm all out of luck up here. haha

So... China's pretty big. More specific location would help.
There are several GW stores in Shanghai, and at least one independent shop. There is (or at least was) an independent shop in Beijing, and there's a 40k club in Shenyang. I'm sure there's something in Guangzhou and/or Shenzhen too.
And yes, prices are higher than in the UK, but "much" would be stretching it. For some reason they're not listed on GW's website, but they're slightly lower than the NOK prices (but in RMB).

Check the store locator. And if you learn something please update it!
It's been geeze 7 years since I was there, but there were small communities of players in Beijing and Shanghai. And of course a large community in Hong Kong.
Prices, yeah, not much you can do about that except order from an independent retailer in the US or UK and risk delays in customs.
All things considered GW SHanghai or Fun Altiers in Hong Kong might be your best bet.

Well I am in Shaoyang but looking for someone to post so my location isn't too important.
The store locator has Shanghai and Hong Kong actually has a few I'll see what they offer.
Other than that I have actually found a Chinese site that seems legit and another kinda eBay one which seems promising.
If I manage to get something I'll let you know.
Thanks

My wife was there last week and said she saw a "Games Workshop" store also but it was closed.. (Or not opened yet)

Yeah apparently there's a small GW store there. Also I messaged Fun Atelier on FB but they said the same thing as re HE stores here, they can't ship out.

I am going to be in Shanghai next week myself.
Any must see places for wargamers or decent stores to visit if I want to purchase something?
I am assuming the GW stores there will be pretty much the same layout as the one I go to locally. I'd be more interested in FLGS over there.

Again the store locator has some but I've not been there in 3 Iron Man movies so I can't say.
Very little was available in Chinese so folks who play usually spoke some English and it was interesting to chat.

@Voldrak Let me know how it's goes in Shanghai.
I'm sure there must be other stores there apart from GW but the GW store looks pretty decent from what I've seen on their FB.
It's hard to find the local stores or community's because you'd need to search in Chinese.. luckily I can do this and I'm slowly getting some info and I'll post areas that have communities of anyone wants that.
