I was thinking of picking some up, possibly for a little warband or possibly for dnd minis but they have been out of stock on the GW page for a while and also on independent websites too.

Does anyone know the reason? Stock problems or lack of product sales?

That is odd, but I'm in the US so I don't know if I can help.

They are for sure still in stock in the US store.

Probably just stock issues, maybe to do with the boxes or instruction booklets not getting printed/shipped. I'd be very surprised at a lack of sales considering how popular the new edition of MESBG is.

Thanks both! Well I asked GW's online help wossname and they just gave me a big old shrug in response, which is great!

They said - "Unfortunately we have no information on whether that product is going to be available. I can however suggest you keep an eye out on the Warhammer Community, as any news will be posted there!"

I gotta say I find that a little odd. Not sure if that's just a stock response. Makes it sound as if they aren't releasing it any time soon.

That's a stock response. Best thing you can do is click that "email me when back in stock button". As according to Jay Clare (developer), that's used as a gauge by which kits get bumped up in the cue to get restocked first. So the more people that click it for Rohan, the faster they should get restocked.

Good point, I have no idea!

I commented on a lotr instagram post from warhammer community and they said they are working on getting them back in stock. So clearly a problem with that.

Well, at least it does sound like they will return!

Seems fairly common in general with GW stuff. I believe its because the US has its own distribution network separate from Europe. Likely the US warehouses have a bunch of RoH boxes still sitting waiting for a buyer while the European warehouses are empty.
