Thanks, guys. I'm quite happy with this lot. I actually got to play some of them -- need to glue the jetpacks on better (probably should scrape the paint off before gluing, and maybe those tiny little adapter parts were a good idea after all). Enjoyed some one-page rules with my 'roid grots as kommandos, the fly-grots, my little tank-thing as a 'bike', and of course gitsnivel doing gitsnivelly things.

Painting has been lagging in favor of printing and playing, but this guy got a little love today... The boyz stole an 'umie plane, but it wasn't killy enough so they gave it to Meka-G to make it killier. So what did he do? Added kill-sawz!

Paint is WIP of course, and I have to figure out how to mount him (no hole in the bottom of the print like the plastic aeronautica planes) but i'm looking forward to fielding it. Even floating some ideas for house-rules to actually get to use the saws

And a gratuitous pic of today's game... the storm grot facing down an Eldar Banshee for an objective!

I added some grime, debating trying to do some chipping on the black, but i may just let it be and move on to another project for awhile. I do need to order some supplies to do a magnet flight stand, probably let him see some action before I add anything else.

Thanks, vejut! I need alot more practice at both, but the only way to get that practice is to paint them lol.

Tonight, a change of pace. Papercraft terrain! Print and glue to foam board, cut and hot glue.

This morn8ming, a bunker. Planning to magnetize the top story to the bottom so I can play it either as one tall or two short buildings.

Tonight was the monthly paint party at our local store. The bard isn't done yet, but I'm calling the ranger complete.

Love the bard and ranger, they’re super cool! Looking forward to seeing the orc skeletons all painted up

Thanks, Gobert! They at least need their weapons painted, and I may add some ivory highlights to the bone. Tonight was more papercraft terrain. How do 3 little pieces of terrain make so much mess? I really need to fix my fdm printer for terrain, but this foamboard stuff is scratching the itch for now.

Those little lizard are really neat. I like your colors.

If you need more paper terrain Cardboard Warriors at onemonk.com is a nice site.

Thanks, Tommy gun! I love the little dino sculpts and they were fun to paint. Are you the same Tommy gun from that site? Awesome stuff, I just downloaded a ton of buildings and the like (there is absolutely going to be an ice machine in my future lol)

And because apparently I can't stick to one project for more than 53 minutes, here is the start to my Revolushunary Guard.

Yes, I used to design a lot of paper terrain. That ice machine is my favorite too.

Little bit of work tonight, some highlights and work on the bandolier of my first 3 revolushunary guardsmen, and a goblin clank tank. All wip of course.

Nice stuff. Is the goblin clank tank Rogue trader era or 3D printed?

Thanks! The tanks are all 3D printed (FDM), AgentSmith99's work from thingiverse.

Should I finish the first seven Ded Orks before starting the other 18? Yes. Will I? Of course not! I need 21 skeletal orks by Thursday!

Thanks!!! Finished is a strong word, but they've been fielded several times, I'll try to get a family photo. Finished off the terrain today, Maybe it's time to finish off the rest of the mostly painted stuff.

Because what i really needed was another project... my local OPR crowd started talking about trying out fantasy, so of course I had to get some halflings to make a fantasy skirmish squad. The Kings of War halfling ambush box had a nice selection at a reasonable price, so I assembled half of them to be my skirmish squad and they are at various stages of WIP in the paint shop.
