Burlon 511th squad continued their weekly physical training. They couldn't help but feel exhausted. The Sergeant's irritating yelling only increased fatigue, making the training even more challenging. They were approaching one and a half miles, and that is when the Sergeant's questions would begin. If they got the answer wrong, they would run two more miles. However, the squad was not too worried. They knew they could count on Havon - their secret weapon.

Havon was like a walking encyclopedia, and his squad knew this. They often relied on him to answer questions during training or in combat situations. The first question was a simple one: "What are you?" The squad replied in unison without hesitation, "A Burlon 511th Soldier, Sir!" The Sergeant nodded in approval, and the team felt a sense of pride wash over them."

"Who do you fear?" they responded, "A Death without reasoning." so far, the questions were straightforward. "What is your weapon of choice?" the Sergeant asked with a smirk.

Everything was silent as the squad looked to Havon for the answer. He confidently replied, "Mark 5 lasgun with a bayonet and the will to move forward FOR THE EMPEROR." the rest of the squad followed his answer by yelling, "FOR THE EMPEROR."

As the Sergeant watched his squad of soldiers, he couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and satisfaction. The Burlon 511th squad was truly an exceptional group, with strength metrics that placed them in the top percentile on their home planet.

But as a military man, the Sergeant knew that there was always room for improvement. He hid his smirk, not wanting to reveal his satisfaction to the squad, and instead focused on pushing them even further. The Burlon 511th squad was already considered one of the best, but the Sergeant wanted them to strive for excellence and be the absolute best soldiers they could be.

"Outstanding, soldier," he said. "Wash up, eat, and see you in the study hall." The squad breathed a sigh of relief as they stopped running. Some patted Havon on the back, thanking him for once again saving them from additional miles.

As a Burlon soldier, every aspect of your life is strictly regulated - even the time you spend bathing. This may seem excessive to some, but for us, it is a necessary part of maintaining discipline and efficiency within our ranks. However, when it comes to the time in the mess hall for meals, there is more flexibility. Our psychiatrist has deemed that allowing soldiers more time to eat not only improves their overall physical health, but also their mental well-being.

In a high-stress environment like war, it is crucial to give soldiers a chance to unwind and relax. This is especially true during meal times, as food has the power to comfort and bring people together. As a result, our mess hall is not just a place for sustenance but also a space for soldiers to socialize and bond with their fellow comrades, especially when the food is coming straight from their home world.

When Havon sat with his childhood friends Laura, Tony, Xavier, and Tammy in the mess hall, enjoying their meal, he couldn't help but feel that their intense training had a bigger purpose. With a quick calculation, he realized that they were members of the 511th Burlon Army in the Terra year 40,511! Havon grasps the Emperor's necklace given to him by his grandmother, as this is divine proof that the Emperor still watches over Burlon.

Burlon is an agricultural world located in the Segmentum Solar. It is one of the safest planets in the Imperium. Its isolated location makes it highly unlikely to be attacked by enemies.

As a thriving agricultural world, Burlon takes great pride in meeting the Imperium's quota for food production. Its fertile lands, advanced farming techniques, and disciplined workers allowed it to produce an abundant food supply, making it a vital contributor to the Imperium's resources.

However, Burlon's prosperity is only partially dependent on agriculture. The planet also has a nearby meteorite belt rich in precious minerals. These resources are efficiently mined by the skilled workers of Burlon, adding to its already substantial wealth.

The prosperity of Burlon has resulted in its citizens living comfortable lives by Imperium standards. They are well-fed, have access to basic amenities, and live in relative safety. The Burlon people believe this is solely due to their deeply rooted belief in the Emperor. He is the one who maintains peace and harmony for anyone who accepts him for what he is: the God-Emperor.

Burlon is an economic powerhouse; however, Burlon creates an army every five hundred and eleven years (estimated seventy-nine Terra Years) to fight for the Emperor. They believe Burlon was the five hundred and eleventh planet recaptured during the Great Crusade. To help the Imperium in its constant state of war, Burlon creates this army as physical proof that they still have faith in the Emperor.

To create this army, the Planet Elites use every ounce of wealth they have. They spare no expense in gathering resources and using any leverage within the Imperium to build this army. Veterans from other armies are bought to train their soldiers. Every army member is handpicked and undergoes rigorous physical, mental, and tactical training to ensure peak performance.

A nearby forge world, known for its expertise in crafting plasma weapons, is more than willing to assist Burlon when raising their army in exchange for the metallic ore they constantly receive from them. The Forge World supplies almost all of Burlon's army needs.

The Burlon armies are renowned for their strength, discipline, and unwavering loyalty to the Emperor. They have a long history of serving in battles across different planets, often being the decisive factor in securing victory for the Imperium.

In recognition of Burlon constantly exceeding their economic quotas and the impressive history of their armies, the Imperium has made a special arrangement to support their efforts. The Imperial Navy creates a fleet just for Burlon's forces.

Each army consists of one Battleship to act as the Solar's Flagship, and then there are four Battle Cruisers for a total of five larger ships. Eleven different Cruisers, eleven different escorts, and other attack craft finish off the fleet to make the number of vessels five hundred and eleven.

Before thinking about the army's logistics, Havon remembered why they considered the number 511 Holy. Burlon was once a planet ruled by a tyrannical elite who oppressed and enslaved the majority of its population. The citizens were forced to live in poverty while the ruling class enjoyed lavish and extravagant lifestyles. The details of this dark period are not fully known, but it is believed that the ruling elite held complete control over all aspects of Burlon, including politics, economy, and society.

Then, everything changed in the year when the Emperor arrived with the Imperium. The Emperor and his army fought against the ruling elite, eventually defeating them and taking control over Burlon. This marked a significant turning point for the planet's inhabitants as they were finally freed from their oppressors. This was the 511th planet that the Imperium had liberated; thus, the number 511 became synonymous with the Emperor for the people of Burlon.

After the Emperor's victory, Burlon underwent reconstruction and transformation. The citizens were now free to live without fear of oppression or poverty. With the help of the Imperium, Burlon flourished as its resources were utilized almost perfectly, making it one of the most prosperous planets in the Imperium.

The Burlonians are a unique society, with customs and traditions passed down for generations. One of the most interesting aspects of their culture is their strong connection to the numbers five and eleven. You see, in Burlonian culture, these numbers hold great significance as they are associated with the Emperor. Every time a Burlonian sees the number five or eleven, it immediately evokes a sense of pride and motivation to be the best they can be.

This is because these numbers are deeply ingrained in the Burlonian psyche through frequent ceremonies and rituals centered around them, held at 5 am and 11 pm daily. These ceremonies are a constant reminder of their Emperor's greatness and inspire them to emulate his virtues in their daily lives.

This strong connection to numbers is also evident in Burlonian military organization. Even in the army, the number five and eleven play a crucial role. The army is divided into groups of five, with each group having a specific hierarchy of commanders responsible for smaller units within the group.

For instance, five Lord Generals oversee the Infantry Regiments, each with five Regimental Commanders under them. These Regimental Commanders are in charge of five Company Commanders each, who lead five Platoon Commanders, who lead eleven infantry squads, eleven heavy weapon squads, and eleven special weapon squads.
With this organizational structure, it is estimated that the infantry component of Burlon's army is approximately 154,375 strong.
This level of precision and attention to detail in their military organization reflects the value placed on numbers in Burlonian culture. It is not just a matter of practicality but also a way for them to honor their Emperor.

Before Havon could start thinking about the size of the Armoured and Artillery company that would work with the Infantry Regiments, Sergeant Hamilton walked into the mess hall and requested that Havon Newt follow him. Havon quickly gathered his things and followed Sergeant Hamilton out of the mess hall.
