This friday me and a friend are playing our first Old World game. I will post an update with info on our game later this week. My list: === jungle bbq [1500 pts] Warhammer: The Old World, Ogre Kingdoms === ++ Characters [370 pts] ++ Slaughtermaster [370 pts] - Hand weapon - Be a Level 4 Wizard - Grut’s Sickle ( after casting, can roll a D3 and add it's value to the cast, then a lose a wound within 3"). - Sword of Might (+1 S, -1 AS, magical attacks) - Talisman of Protection (5+ wardsave) - Kineater ( friendly units within command range can reroll panic and rally) - Illusion *The dream here is rolling doppelganger as a spell for absolute devastation in combat. ++ Core Units [411 pts] ++ 3 Ogre Bulls [111 pts] - Ironfists - Crusher *Mandetory and don't expect this to do much except chaff. 6 Ironguts [300 pts] - Gutlord [Fistful Of Laurels]( 1 time only, can reroll break test) - Standard bearer [Cannibal Totem] (unit gains 5+ regen, but only rolls 1 dice for pursuit rolls) - Bellower *I expect this to do a pretty great job in combat vs most of the stuff that lizards can bring. ++ Special Units [715 pts] ++ 4 Mournfang Cavalry [350 pts] - Ironfist - Heavy armour - Crusher [Fistful Of Laurels] ( 1 time only, can reroll break test) - Standard bearer [Rampaging Banner] ( reroll charge range) - Bellower *banner to hopefully secure the charge, and thus, my impact hits. Fistful of laurels because no BSB and probably not within the General's range. 4 Maneaters [369 pts] - Brace of Ogre pistols - Heavy armour - Poisoned Attacks - Vanguard - Maneater Captain [Ruby Ring of Ruin] - Standard bearer [Dragonhide Banner] -1 Maneater ( standardbearer) also has a great weapon *Maneaters are quite expensive and I really want to test them. Kitted them out with guns and the Dragonhide Banner which gives reroll 1 to hit. also ruby ring. Hopefully let's me deal with chaff and might be my only answer to skinks or a carnosaur. -- Wondering what you guys think. As stated above I will give a summary of how the game went later this week.
