I've been having this crazy thought running through my head.
Recently I've been bitten by the nostalgia bug and have been looking up old G1 Transformers I've always wanted but could never get as a child back in the late 80's early 90's
Then, as I was printing out some scenery, I got to thinking how cool it would be to have a transformers tabletop wargame
I wonder if Hasbro would go for that...

I was working on some knock about rules a few years ago, but then someone brought out a game that has Not Transformers, Not MASK, Not GI Joe etc in it. It's even supposed to be pretty decent so i just gave up.

Bot War by Traders Galaxy?
He was trying to get a Hasbro license but they weren't interested in doing one so he redid the background as his own thing.

Hush you, Bot War is entirely original ideas like Ricky Rouse and Ronald Ruck.
They actually have been moving away from (not) Hasbro designs in recent years.

Hasbro also did some unpainted Transformers figures a few years back, just the biggies like Optimus Prime and such, but if you're looking to paint them you can look for those.

Oh damn, there is a lot more going on for Bot War than I expected! These are just some of the mega bundles: Even the giant mecha monster people are pretty great EDIT: Also there are STL files ( https://tradersgalaxy.com.au/product-category/3d-print-files/) but I'm not convinced they're production sculpts. The cast ones look quite a bit more detailed (but could be the magic of paint)
