Following the conquest of the Imperial Forge World of Scalex VI by Wazzdakka Gutsmek and his WAAAGH!, the orks ran rampant, pilfering and looting all they could. A group under Wazzdakka's banner made their way to a great manufactorum of the Adeptus Mechanicus, and begun to tear apart its doors to get their hands on anything they could. Upon breaching its walls, the orks, spearheaded by a Mek by the name of Gobgitza da Brain, marveled at the technological treasures that the manufactorum housed. Inside laid inactive Titans, lines of battle tanks and other products of the Adeptus Mechanicus' genius. Not long after their beady eyes gazed upon the wondrous machines they began to tear those same creations apart piece by piece. Once operational vehicles were dismantled, only leaving scraps and bolts in its place.
Most of the orks could not contain their "enthusiasm" and began to give their newfound weapons test runs, resulting in many being taken to the local Dok (many of those same weapons now grafted to the orks' bodies). Gobgitza da Brain suffered an untimely demise at the hands of his own boyz, who had managed to hot-wire the inactive Warhound Titan, crushing the Mek beneath its metal feet. With Gobgitza nothing more than a smear on the manufactorum floor, a nob by the name of Wuzdat rose up and took lead over the orks. This was mostly due to the fact that Wuzdat was the one who piloted the Titan, killing Gobgitza inadvertently. Wuzdat was not as technologically inclined as his predecessor, or any of the existing Meks in the warband for that matter, but what he lacked in brains he surely made up for in raw strength, killing any nay-sayers had confronted him.
In odd admiration of the Forge World and its wonders, the warband dubbed themselves the "Adeptuz Mekanikuz". With his Big Mek, Snipit, handling all the brain work, the newly "appointed" Boss Wuzdat has made plans to loot Forge Worlds across the galaxy, following the Speed Freeks and Wazzdakka's Great WAAAGH!
Appearance
Much like the Speed Freeks, the Adeptuz Mekanikuz believe in the power of red. They are clad in dark red clothing and paint white cog patterns on most of their equipment and well as face paint, reminiscent of the attire of the Adeptus Mechanicus. Most orks are very well equipped and their equipment is extensively overhauled, enough to make a Bad Moon jealous and a Death Skull think twice before stealing from them.
Force Composition
The Adeptuz Mekanikuz employ a great deal of Meks, Burnas, Lootas, Flashgitz and and ramshackled vehicles they have slapped together with their ill-gotten supplies. Killa Kans scramble about their ranks and Deff Dreads roar into battle with maniacal glee. Much like their parent warband of Speed Freeks, the Adeptuz Mekanikuz have a taste for speed, piloting super-charged Deffkoptas, warbikes and trukks.
Boss Wuzdat is often accompanied by a group of Nobs, who he insures one way or another, are equipped with the best bitz, gubbins and loot they can find.
