Here's my Blood Claw squad. Not too impressed with them so I think I'll be opting for more Grey Hunter squads in the future.

Here's my first Grey Hunter squad, I've finished my second Grey Hunter squad and have now started my 3rd squad. They're a very solid troop unit and I figured the more the merrier!

I'll be posting more units as they get painted.

Why I Started This Army

I've always been interested in the Great Crusade era of the 40k background and started a Preheresy Dark Angels army several years ago. That army was converted from an existing Marine army I had and I was never 100% satisfied with how it turned out. When rumors of the new Space Wolf codex started coming out, I thought it'd make a great basis for a Preheresy army. As the rumors started getting more concrete I decided to just make a Preheresy Space Wolf force from the ground up. As the Dark Angels army was never complete to me, I went all out with the Wolves. I combined the Wolf Pack, Chaos, and Tac Squad boxes with Forgeworld and Maxmini resin bits. I am going for a late Crusade era force so a mixture of all the varying armor bits up to Mk IV armor is the look I'm shooting for. The Great Company is out on Crusade and getting spotty resupply so armor is repaired with different marks as they come in. The Mk IV is the newest variant in this army and is mixed in units as they become available.

I will be expanding this army as time permits and I'm happy with it so far. I like the feel of the army and look forward to adding to it and expanding this article as I get more up and painted.
