Blah about my stuff.
I love Eldar. Just loose a lot. I have an Ulthwe colour scheme army, played as Ulthwe Na Daan, as it contains a lot of aspect warriors and falcons/serpents. And no guardians. They are allied to my Bel Tain force. Which is going to be mostly wraithlords (five so far) and I was going to buy two of those jetbike apoc sets, but then I saw the resculpt of the jetbike with the better riding position. So they still are nothing more than an addendum to the Eldar apoc force.
DKK mech Coy (eight squads in two platoons, plus two platoons of DKK IST) Three tamiya 1/35 Panther V with Vanquisher cannon and Las cannon in the hull MG mount. QM and other assorted hangers on in three revel 1/35 Luchs.
Old (1st ed) IG (the ones of necromundia 9th fame) Two platoons of two squads with HQ with two AT squads of man portable Las cannon. Now being slowly reinforced with viridians. They have three Pig Iron Productions Iron Side tanks with the tau like cannons swapped out for cities of death chimneys. They'll pass as laser destroyers. And one cheap plastic toy tank with loads of stuff stuck on.
Three HALO3 warthog jeeps with cadian crews. Going to do weapon swaps on these.
Valhallans (Kado 540th) Five squads of those, reinforced by one squad of Pig Iron Kolony militia.
Inquisitrix and retinue in 1/35 USMC piranah.
Heretics and renegades. sixty or so guys - cadians with FW upgrades or Pig Iron Kolony rebel heads. A few FW and Pig Iron bits and pieces. Ogryn berserkers, demons etc etc. some artillery to put together.
Currently looking at the sprues available from www.scotiagrendel.co.uk to mix with more cadian/catchan parts for IG in carapace armour (I know they're not worth the points, but since when did that matter ?) and more heretics/renegades.
Jan 09: Eldar are mostly painted to a level where I could game with them without being laughed at. IG now also beginning to slowly get painted. I'm going to get a spray gun for the tanks though. (the Eldar tanks were ok, being just balck with white lightening flashes and squiggles on them).
Apr 09: GW have drastically changed my plan. I now have to field some valkeries and eagerly await the new stormtroopers. I'm going to be mixing catchans and marauders for another regiment of Heretics who I hope will look different to the existing ones (Cadians with Pig Iron renegade heads and a fair sprinkling of FW renegade bits.
I've also now finished assembling my DKK. Only thing is, I need another eight Chimera and another two squads of DKK stormtroops to round it out in a nice, logical fashion. Also hoping to buy some honourable lead suit boiler co artillery before the stop making it.
Jul 09: Not bought any Valkeries. Not bought any HLSB artillery either. Have ASL & Vostroyan cmd squads with attendant Las & HB squads. Emperor's Children: 1 DP, 2 x 9 Noise marines, 3 x defilers 3 x predator anhilator 3 x predator exterminator 4 x Emperor's Children Landspeeders. More Heretics: 10 rough riders, eight ogre motar carriers, 1 baneblade, 2 LRBT (to go with the other 3) six squads of infantry (catachan/maruders). More Dark Reapers, More Rangers, More Seer council, 3 autharchs, four chimera, ten sentinals. Have stuck a lot of this together. Now just need another year to paint it.
